I thought it was a good movie, and although it was a bit
offensive at times, I loved it. I really enjoyed Kari
Wuhrer's preformance as Galina (or Gina) Lempke, and
Michael Costantine's preformance as Tudzu Lempke. I would
like to make one correction from the movie though, when
Billy and the guy from his agency are talking about the
gypsies, THE LEADER IS NOT CALLED A KING!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie; sure it's a B movie - but with a murky set of characters set in a slippery revenge slope, I found it interesting to question who - if any of the characters we should sympathize with; and it was hard to guess exactly where the movie would go. Sure, the movie's got its stereotypes; and the acting is hardly oscar grade; but the revenge spiral with an overnatural twist made it an interesting watch. Also, for future reference: King is personally displeased with the misbranding of "the lawnmover man". The movie has nothing to do with the short story. For recent King movies; I recommend "The mist" over "1408" (which peters out halfway).
