time, next to Full Metal Jacket, although it has a typical
plot, "kill the south american drug lord" (Clear & Present
Danger) for instance. but overall i must say it is one of
my favorites still to this day
than the negotiator. the graphics are extremly well done.
because it is a jarhead movie (semper fi) that boosted my
fondness of the movie. i myself want to be a marine corp
sniper so this gives me a good idea what sniping is
about.
paid a lot of attention to details, from the ghillie suits
to the rifles...i noticed that "Miller" (Billy Zane) used an
HK PSG-1 sniper rifle, which is good because most writers
stick with the classic M-40 bolt action sniper
rifle...overall, an excelent movie
there are alot out there but none really focus on the
snipers. and me having a facisination (sp?) with sniping
and long range marksmanship this movie hit the spot. I'd
actually like to see someone make another sniping movie
Beringer played a great marine sniper. He did an great
job.
I couldn't of picked a better actor. The movie deserves
and Oscar! And the director deserves a Noble Prize.
Here goes with my feminine opinion. Excellent movie.
And, to the above gents who already posted. Yes, details,
graphics were great. Good learning experience for anyone
on the duties and tactics of a sniper.
There were only two outstanding actors that carried this
whole movie from start to finish. quite a performance.
One shot one kill....These guys are unbelievable.

Berringer. It may not have been the most excilting, but it
was real. Another reason why i dont listen to the flunkies
writing out critic reviews. The best movies are often
misunderstood for lack of "hollywood" glamour.
ow a man who is like him who was one. I especially
appreciated how he told the young sniper that feeling bad
after a kill was naturally, but that what was worse was
when you could no longer feel.
