This is by far the most unique and exciting movie I have
ever seen!! I have watched it several times and will
cntinue to do so! The music is a perfect enhancement to
this captivating film! Bravo! What an instant classic!

Excellent Soundtrack! Impossible to find at the music
stores (I guess because it's so popular) I have viewed this
wonderful movie many a time...almost as good as the fifth
element.

The movie is incredible. The melange of Christmas &
Halloween in such a clever touch. It has been a long time
since I've seen such an excellent work of animation.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favourite movie of all
time, it has everything: love, deception, music, hope,
laughter and MAGIC. But what I love the most is the
characters and of course the fact that Tim Burton is behind
everything, you can tell that from the first second. His
twisted cats and mummies, the mosters that are horrible but
lovable, the music of Danny Elfman that make us relate to
the story. It is absolutelly excelent, for adults and
children too, it is so NOT scary, quite the opposite and
since it's an animated film it just gives a different taste
to the espectator.

Brillant piece of work, The Nightmare Before Christmas has
beautifully created a set of unique characters, a magical
plot, and deliciously spooky music that sets the mood for
Hallows - eve.

It rates more than 4 stars! I have the video, I
watch it whenever I can, my 9 yr. old daughter is
nuts over it. I'm 40, my top movie of all time, is
still Wizard Of Oz, this ranks right up there!!!
Alexander | 10:40 a.m. June 12, 2000
the best movie i've ever seen!

This movie is nothing less than a work of art. I am a
teenager,so I was really too young to appreciate it fully
while it was in theaters, but now I can certainly relate to
the misfit characters and passionate music (I have always
been a fan of musicals from Lloyd Webber to Elfman). I am a
huge fan of Tim Burton and I commend him, as well as the
talented animation staff and voice actors, for their
creativity. I rank this movie right up on the list with
Star Wars as one of the greatest movies in history. :-)

i absoloutly loved it, it was one of the most intertaining
movies i have seen, and its not just for little kids
either, me and my little brother, whos six, sit down
together and we watch it, having danny elfman do the score
was brilliant, and i just loved the movie period

You can only give this movie 4 stars? The Nightmare Before
Christmas is a movie which allows a child to understand the
plot and also gives an adult's well-trained eye an
oppertunity to enjoy it. The plot includes that a simple
man (or skeleton) who is in search of a greater meaning to
life. The score is wonderful and the songs are great fun.
The animation is right up there with the animation of Toy
Story and Chicken Run. This is one of my favorite movies
of all time, right up there with Wizard of Oz, Singing in
the Rain, and Toy Story. This movie deserves more than 4
stars.

Is their anyway I can give this movie more than 4 stars?
This movie is just brilliant, I watch it almost once a
week. I've loved the movie from the first time I saw it
and it has been my favorite movie ever since. The songs
are catchy and beautiful, I love the solos by Sally and
Jack. Also tha characters are lovely, I could watch them
everyday.
Pablo Aviles | 10:34 p.m. Sept. 15, 2000
I think that was the best movie that Tim Burton ever made.
Ever since I saw the Nightmare Before Christmas, i've bein
collecting any item that relates to the movie.I also make X-
mas decorations out of the carecters. I think there should
be a part 2 on video!!!
I say it agian that was the best movie ever made.
"Sally" | 11:20 a.m. Oct. 14, 2000
"Nightmare before Christmas" is the most interesting and
challenging movie I've ever seen!!! Every time I watch it,I
discover something new. There are so many hidden messages-I
just love it!!!Right now I'm listening to the awesome CD.I
admire Tim's fantasy!

This movie like all of Tim Burtons movies, bring
unimaginable things to life. In all of his movies, its like
I want to be in that setting. He takes the imagination and
puts it on screen. In the Nightmare Before Christmas, I was
very impressed and throughly amused. The music was so well
written and preformed by Danny Elfman. I loved all the
charaters and how Burton did all the little details to set
mood to the movie. He made sure everything was in place and
that every charater belonged in that scene. He touched all
points of Halloween and Christmas and he made the
characters interact perfectly. How he made the setting was
just beautiful. He used mostly black and white colors and
how he used swirls. He portrayed Halloween Town with a
great imagination. That is what I would imagine Halloween
town would look like. I do think that some kids may not be
able to handle but i have loved it since the 3 grade and
still watch it. I can/t describe how much i love this
movie. Thanx and no im not insane. =)

I love the Nightmare Before Christmas. My sister and I
watch it all of the time, and I'm watching it right now.
My favorite character is oogey boogie! He's funny until
you see him split open. Have you ever realized that the
mayor and Santa have the same body type? The cone with
little feet. Now the movie is at "something's up with
Jack, something's up with Jack." I love the music in this
movie! I LOVE THIS MOVIE! Tim Burton might have a twsted
mind, but I love this movie! He has a mind like mine!
Matt Fackrell | 11:35 a.m. Nov. 25, 2000
This happens to be my favorite film of all time. I'm sure
that anyone who has seen it would agree that it's a pretty
morbid take on Christmas, but with all that aside, this is
one amazing movie. The stop motion is wonderful, and
inventive, all the music and lyrics by multi-talented
musician Danny Elfman (lead singer of Oingo Boingo and
singing voice of the Michael Crawfordish sounding Jack
Skellington) is grand, and who cannot enjoy the morbid mind
of Tim Burton who created the characters, look, and
atmosphere of this delightfully strange but touching film.
George H. Zinn | 3:08 p.m. Nov. 29, 2000
As many times as I have viewed Tim Burton's warped but
entertaining view of The Nightmare Before Christmas, I am
still amazed and amused at his characterization of two
holidays juxtaposed in a most delightful film. I feel that
Tim Burton is one of the few truly independent filmmakers
not limited by Hollywood genre. He continues to present us
with films made his way and to his unique style. Edward
Scissorhands, the dark and sinister Batman, Ed Wood, Mars
Attacks, Pee Wee Herman, and now NBC, continues to project
Mr. Burton as a true pioneer in cinematic pleasure. In NBC,
his teeming with Danny Elfman is nothing short of genius.
Even without the grotesque animation on the screen, the
music by itself is original and fun. I hope Tim Burton will
continue to spin out his wonderful films, and not change
one
eyelash at the cost of creativity and originality. I will
always be one of his championed fans. FOUR LARGE STARS!!!!!
Martha A | 3:22 p.m. Dec. 4, 2000
Being an artist myself I see The Nightmare Before Christmas
as a Creator's dream. Tim shows us what he wants us to see
and I think that that is the most important aspect of this
film.

I'm only 17 but I'm the one known to like all the "weird"
movies. My favorite since I was little was The Rocky Horror
Picture Show, but since The Nightmare Before Christmas came
out I haven't been able to get enough of it. I love this
movie and I collect all the dolls, shirts, notebooks, etc..
IT'S A GREAT MOVIE!

THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIE IN ALL OF
OUTER SPACE!! IT IS A STORY ABOUT SELF-
DISCOVERY, AND I THINK MANY OF US CAN RELATE TO
THAT!
Abby | 3:19 p.m. Sept. 12, 2001
This movie was a delite for my eyes! The stop-motion
animation was astounding beyond words along with the music!
It touched my heart and kept me waiting for more. NMBC had
every thing a movie needs as well as much more. I've been
after the all the toys, figures, and dolls. Their current
prices dumb-found me, but I can see why. Every thing made
for this movie is so well put together. I just love it all!!
shadeen | 3:36 p.m. Oct. 8, 2001

movie so much he wants to watch it again.

When people say ''The Nightmare Before Christmas'' i think
of how awesome this piece is and how many times i've
watched it(i dont have enough toes and fingers 2 count)and
how brilliant Tim Burton is and any one else who
participated in created this odd and uniqe film!
Jamie (Catsy) | 2:43 p.m. Nov. 19, 2002
Gawd! Words cannot describe how I feel about this movie! I
had watched it fo the first time a few weeks ago on
Halloween, and at first, I didn't find it all that
apeeling, but when I was helping to decorate for my
family's Halloween Party on Saturday, I caugt myself
singing "What's This?"! I couldn't take it, I just had to
watch it again! o_O Now I'm drawing the charaters
constantly and have even tried to make my own little mini
sequal. Gawd! Tim! What ever you were thinking that day,
All I can say is...Great job! And don't ever lose it!!!!
evlyn menes | 3:16 p.m. Jan. 12, 2003

everytyhing in it! awsome characters, fabulous songs, great
plot and storyline, and the animation is like nothing I've
ever seen before!! mr. burton, you are a genius!! my
heart goes out to every one who was involved in the making
of this movie. there should be a sequel!!
Black mage | 10:22 a.m. Jan. 15, 2003
I say this is the best movie I ever saw. I mean Jack tries
to go out to walk of his depretion and stumbels on to the
doors. He opens one finds that holiday more interesting
tries to undestand it. Then tries doing the same as santa
and give toys to all the little girls and boys and gets
shot down for trying to under stand something. I say its
very heart touching.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is the best movie
ever !!!!!
Jessica | 7:25 p.m. Aug. 19, 2003
"The Nightmare Before christmas" is my favorite movie of
all time. Jack is such a cool guy. The story line has such
good lesson in it, and people everywere can relate to at
least one of the charactes in this movie. All the
characters look creepy, but have possitive attitudes to
them. I give this movie 4 stars because the first time I
saw the movie, I was completly attached to it. Each
character remided me of a real, everyday person. Like
Sally, the nice, polite rag doll. she reminded me of my
kindergarden teacher. And the tree mischivious neighborhood
kids who envy Jack, they reminded my of the three trouble
causing kids who lived down the block that my mom never
wanted me to make friends with. And Zero, Jack's faithful
companion who's always by his side. Zero reminded me of the
average family dog. Tim Burton has an outstanding
imagination, and definatly knows how to put a good, spooky
family movie together. I highly recomend this movie to all
families.

when i was a bit younger and it has remained my very
favorite movie. I think it it timeless.

Awesome!! Jack & co. are a blast. I thoroughly enjoyed
this flamboyant musical extravaganza, a true Tim Burton
masterpiece! Fans of his pictures will enjoy Nightmare
Before Christmas. Viewer discretion is advised though, as
some character may be frightening to youngsters. Only
minor gripe i had was it was a little short, but overall,
a very impressive film.
