Five Stars isn't enough. I've seen this movie so many times
my VCR practically broke down. Daniel Day-Lewis is my
favorite actor, and even though he was drooling in the movie
he remained the hot stud he is. Christy Brown was a
courageous man, and this movie proved so. 1,000,000+ stars.

My Left Foot was splendid. Daniel Day-Lewis was riveting in
the lead, and it's a highly recommended drama. Check it
out.

I enjoyed this film. It reflects the sourse, morality, and
"faustian bargain" of creativity: Painful isolation and
self
awareness. In the safety of the consensual world, one can
forget themselves by absorbing themselves into the
community. Cristy, by default, was born to be alone and
with this aloneness, he was with the world. The film did
not lean on false heroics, it portrayed Cristy as a man at
onc capable of beauty and ugliness which is the well spring
of creation itself. It turns out that God and Satan
