Hello Boring! If you have trouble going to sleep at night, and don't like taking sleep aid drugs, then this is just the movie for you. It is boring with a dash of tiresome stagnacity thrown in to make it a hellishly long two hours of wasted time. Oh...I know that there are some people out there that will disagree with me, but that's just because they like torture. (the masachistic fools!) Please see this movie if you want to go to sleep. If not get something with a little more 'interest'

This is probably hailed as well-acted and all. But I do
agree with the previous reviewer that this movie is dull.
Even the violence and nudity didn't even wake me up (the
guys were not good-looking--not that I am a fan of nudity
in the movies). It seems someone put it in there for
somebody's interest. This movie pretends to be classy--
let's just leave it at that. I would have rather seen Liz
Taylor and Sean Connery in this rather than boring BBC
players.

It's amazing how uneducated people are, and how dependant they are on hollywood flash.
Mrs. Brown is one of the best movies ever made. A little knowledge of history make the movie absolutely riveting.
Wonderful acting, too.
And as far as the "need" for beautiful hollywood actors, the guy playing John Brown's brother later played the beefcake king in 300.
Isn't that hollywood enough?
