agree with the previous reviewer that this movie is dull.
Even the violence and nudity didn't even wake me up (the
guys were not good-looking--not that I am a fan of nudity
in the movies). It seems someone put it in there for
somebody's interest. This movie pretends to be classy--
let's just leave it at that. I would have rather seen Liz
Taylor and Sean Connery in this rather than boring BBC
players.
Mrs. Brown is one of the best movies ever made. A little knowledge of history make the movie absolutely riveting.
Wonderful acting, too.
And as far as the "need" for beautiful hollywood actors, the guy playing John Brown's brother later played the beefcake king in 300.
Isn't that hollywood enough?
