This was a disturbing movie. Which I just seen in school.

made back then.

I'm watching the movie right now in our History class, and
the fact that I'm on this site as we watch it pretty much
describes how I feel about it. One word: soporific.

this movie was good, but personally it is the only movie i
have seen that has
been made in less than two decades. the taliban only lets
us watch brady
bunch reruns. all in all, i thought it was better than the
Alqaeda video

This movie was good but personally it is the only moview I
have seen that
has been made in less than two decades. The Taliban only
let us watch Brady
Bunch reruns. All in all I thought the movie was very
moving. Unfortunately
Osama came and burned the tape when we were done with it.
He also stole
our VCR.

I have seen a lot of movies dealing with black slavery,
segregation of the blacks form the American community
e.t.c. but in my own opinion "The long walk home" carries
a new message and shows another way to overcome oppression
even under the coldest and inhumane conditions
Self discipline is one of the morals this movies
preaches. Non-violent protest is another major thing
exhibited in this movie; which is the very opposite of
what is happening in the world of today. Finally I would
like to point out to the young blacks of today that their
predecessors had suffered and struggled a great deal to
move the black community out of the dark times; they, the
young ones, should not let that struggle be in vain.
Finally, the actors ,most especially Sissy Spacek and
Whoopi Goldberg, did a wonderful job in depicting the
situation and environment (plot)of the incident.
