This movie was very interesting and inspiring. I was
especially delighted by the scenes of the Enlightenment of
the Buddha, though the narrator could have explained this
episode with a less symbolic/mystical tone so that viewers
could actually understand better what happened in
siddharta's mind during the night of his Enlightenment.
Also, it would have been interesting that the movie depicts
the life of the Buddha after his enlightenment in his 45
years teaching ministry. Of course, this movie was not only
about the Buddha's life so it is understandable that many
things have been omitted. Nevertheless, there is a movie on
Jesus Christ's life and teachings that contains many
details about this man and when I rent "Little Buddha", I
expected somewhat the same format. I guess (and hope) that
such a movie would/will be another project altogether.
Nevertheless, I would like to say that Keanu Reeve (sory if
I didn't write it correctly) did an excellent job! I was
impressed by him!

True, the movie does not seem to have much of a point to
begin with. For a person who is not remotely interested in
spiritual matters this could well be a grueling experience,
but for the individual who has but a little interest in
seing something different and important, this movie is
excellent. Keanu Reeves did a great job with the material
he was given for the role. For someone like him to even
take on such a project is quite impressive. Not many actors
could or even would do it. In my humble opinion people
should see this movie and let it inspire them to inquire
more about the spiritual side of what we call life.

Yes I gave this movie 4 stars, I know in parts this movie
seems overdone but I still feel the message it tries to get
out to the wider audeince remains intact and at times
poignant. I love this movie and when in the right frame of
mind would be a great choice to watch.
