dialogue, but when spoken its so little but gives us so
much insight. with the music score, you lose yourself.
quinn, quayle, o'tool, ect are superb in who they
betray with depth. lawrence, 'I killed two persons.......
and I enjoyed it'.
It touches with ambiguity. Did he sleep with
young boys.
Quinn's acting was with depth, self righteous,
greed, impulsive just like a child. The more I see this
film i discover something I had not seen before, always
refreshing, drawn in by the music and awesome scenery.

I'm only eighteen years old and I can tell you that today's
movies just don't seem to compare to the great David Lean
classic. Peter O'Toole is one amazing actor, and Lawrence
is
his greatest role, although he was also wonderful in
Becket,
The Lion in Winter and The Ruling Class. I believe LOA is
David Lean's greatest film! Nothing short of breataking;
you
can even feel the wind in the desert.
I have two complaints, though! One is the fact that Peter
O'Toole wasn't awarded the Academy Award for Best Actor
(the
voters must have been asleep or something!), and Anthony
Quinn wasn't nominated as Best Supporting Actor. I think
Shariff was very good as Ali, but Quinn comes across as a
perfect bully, which is what his role demanded.
Mr. Hicks, your review does justice to the movie. Thanks
for
giving others the opportunity to discover the greatest
movie
ever made!
