Ahh, dinosaurs. Kid's favorite thing. This is the best
dinosaur movie ever. Don't let anyone younger than 10
watch it unless you don't mind a very little gore, but alot
of scares.

One of the most overrated, poorly scripted movies ever made.
I only give this one star due to the outstanding special
effects. The plot was convoluted, and the acting was
horrible. Jeff Goldblum was totally useless. What was his
purpose? All he did was sit there and make assanine
comments. And you thought only the government could waste
millions and accomplish nothing. It's naturally assumed that
if it's done by Steven Spielberg, then it's automatically
great. This movie insulted my intelligence.

It's about time I get around to telling about the fantasy
film I most enjoyed in recent years, Jurassic Park. This is
the best event movie of the 90's, and one of the very few
as well. I remember when I first got to see it in
the theater, I was so happy to see all the dinos, starting
with one of the Brontosaurus. And the crowd I saw it with
was very happy too. This is one of the best
films of Spielberg's career. The cast was also well chosen,
and even the grandchildren of Sir Richard Attenborough's
trillionaire were game and appealing. And the special
effects mastered here by experts like Stan Winston and Phil
Tippet were awesome! Yes, it's scary at times, but it's
all done in good, clean taste. As a suspense movie for the
family audience, this is highly recommended.

When i first saw Jurassic Park on the big screen, i was awe
struck, but i was also 16 then. At the time, there was
nothing like the special effects shown in JP, the dinosaurs
look so real. Today, there are so many advanced special
effect films that JP seems a little lame in comparison
these day's. But, during it's day, it was king. The
storyline was a bit sloppy, but when your a kid, that
does'nt really factor in.

Although the book tells a better story, i don't care!
I can't help but be awestruck by the atmosphere and sense
of wonder Jurassic Park offers! It makes me want to be
there, even at the risk of being eaten alive or ripped to
shreds!

This is one of the greatest movies of all time. i loved
the characters, plot, writer, director, soundtrack, and
special effects. what i am really tired of hearing is that
it has no point or story. quite simply, the point is
obviously, man can't control the uncontrollable, or "life
will find a way." and the comments about how the plot ends
when the t-rex starts to attack is wrong are wrong as
well. its actually more realistic. its not like they'd
have time for phylosophical discussions while the creatures
were out and about. if it were true they wouldn't b
saying,"Oh, we better stop running, and trying to figure
out how to get off this island. it doesn't matter if we
die, cause we'll apease the audience if we sit down and
have a nice meaningful, phylosophical, discussion." its
more realistic that they're conserned about getting off and
away from it. Anyway i'd give it five stars if it had the
option. i loved it.

This movie was a spectacular display of computer graphics,
acting and directing combined into one. Spielberg was
definetely on top of his game when he did this one. The
lines are funny, yet thought provoking when neccesary. The
actors where picked well, each portraying their character
nicely. Alan Grant (Sam Neil) is the serious and smart guy
that knows all about the dinos and must use his knowledge
to survive. Elly Satler (Laura Dern) is the babe of the
movie, even if she isn't that good looking. And Ian Malcolm
(Jeff Goldblum) is the funny guy that comes up with all the
memorable lines. The story line is good, but the story does
get boring once in a while. You are always waiting for the
dinosaurs to come back and eat someone. Spielberg is able
to create a wonderful ending as well, climaxing splendidly.
Over all, the movie was a tremendous success, and Spielberg
should be commended for it.

This is a great movie. One of the best of all time. Sure,
it was no where near as good as the book, but fairly good
translation over-all. Especially the T-rex effects. Jeff
Goldblum is a hoot as Ian Malcolm. And Sam Neil's character
couldn't have been cast any better. Watch it over and over
for years to come. You won't be disappointed!
