are weighed down by predictable plot twists because
they were all given away in the trailers. Robin Williams
is
less frenetic than usual but still a bit annoying. Kirsten
Dunst is good, but the computer generated monkeys are truly
cheesy. Rather than spoil an evening by renting this one,
I
would invite a gabby friend over and watch Bonnie Hunt in
'Only You'... smiles.
premise, it pays too much attention to it's own special
effects department(spiders, snakes, elephants, etc). A very
big problem, if you ask me. And while Williams isn't as
irritating here as in some of his other movies of the past
few years, he's still very tiresome. And besides, do the
producers really have to hire people like him to star in
movies like this? Why couldn't they have tried someone
else? It might have helped a bit.
