This is the best movie I have ever seen! It has so many
great actors and their characters really come out in the
movie. It is great how it brings whites and blacks
together fighting for one cause. The battle seens and
soundtrack are also outstanding.

I came out of this movie with the impression that it was the
best movie I had ever seen and after seeing it several times
since then, that opinion has not faded.

When I first watched Glory in my tenth grade history class,
a lot of parts were skipped due to time restraints and
graphic images. But those few moments were enough to
convice me it was something special. After renting it, I
have found it is possibly the greatest movie I have ever
seen. Glory is one of those very rare movies that touches
every part of your soul and makes you step back and take
another glance at your life that u take so much for granted.
A magnificent movie.

When I first heard that Matthew Broderick was in another
movie, I couldn't wait to see it. I LOVE him. Soon, as I
got into the movie, he faded out, and the movie and reality
itself set in. I am now addicted to the 54 mass. and Col.
Robert Gould Shaw. It's the best movie in history!

Excellent movie. I have seen Glory several times and
everytime I see it I am taken aback by it. It is a very
powerful and moving story that deserves to be shared with
everyone.

Glory is one of those movies that comes around once in a
lifetime. It deeply touches my heart every time I see it.
The sacrifice and bravery shown by all the characters is
commendable. Just knowing that it is a true story makes
the
impact all the stronger. If you have not yet seen GLORY,
you must. It presents lessons that still need to be
learned
even today, that everyone is equal regardless of race or
skin color. We are called to come together, and fight as
one.

I believe that "Glory" is an excellent movie, describing
the emotional moviement of the African Americans during the
Civil War. Though the narrator of the story, Broadrick,
should not have been the narrator. I believe the movie
would have been more affective if Morgan Freedman was the
narrator.

I loved this movie its the best movie i have ever seen it
really touched my heart and soul. It was very well done and
the actors brought the 54th to life like it happened
yesterday! and i also loved Matthew Brodrick in it he was
the best for Robert Shaw he was cute and he looked like the
real Robert Shaw! now that i seen Glory i'm hooked on it.

I recently viewed the documentary of the 54th and "Glory"
really brought their story and struggle to life. Matthew
Broderick performance was great and Morgan Freeman was
superb. But Denzel Washington was simply phenomenal as a
hard-knock slave who is mad at the world and vents his
anger in all the wrong places. This movie is one of the
best I've seen in a very long time.

I thought the movie was great. It told the detailed story
of
the 54th regiment and their quest to win freedom and
equality as well as prove themselves useful to the high
raking whites who dubbed them a waste of time.

Glory is to all Civil War movies what "Saving Private Ryan"
is to WWII flicks. Indeed they both show what courage in
uncertain circumstances constitutes, both Broderick and
Hanks taking on very long odds attacking the Fort or
holding
a key point until relief can arrive. While "Saving Private
Ryan" is clearly a disturbingly graphic show deserving of
it's R rating, Glory however was rated to harshly by the
MPAA/CARA and a PG-13 rating would have been more
appropriate in my oppinion (keep in mind the educational
version many of you have seen is rated only PG--and very
little is taken out). A very good creative match 81 years
apart in timing (1863-1944).

I never found war movies even remotely intriguing, but
after seeing this movie in my 8th grade american studies
class last year, I was overjoyed I had to watch one. This
is by far the most moving and well-done movie i have EVER
seen, war movie or not. Even if it was seen mainly through
the eyes of Shaw, it was still incredible. I am now very
interested in the 54th regiment, something I never though
would happen, especially after watching a movie. Definatly
a 4 star movie, terrific preformances by all actors
involved.

This film really blew me away. A couple years back I watched it with my dad and then again in my history class. The scenes are superb and filled with so much emotion - it's very moving. Not only that, but the actors were incredible. They portrayed their characters flawlessly and I felt some tears slip out when Shaw and the regiment perished at the fort. On a side note, oh my gosh, colonel Shaw was a cutie pie.

Overall, fantastic movie. I would definitely recommend it!
