I don't know how anyone can slag off this movie!! With an
exciting cast, an interweaving of romance, thriller, comedy
and the supernatural, and the most romantic song ever
written (Unchained Melody), this movie is #1 in my books!!!

Ghost was pretty good as a supernatural romance tale, and
Jerry Zucker did a surprisingly good job at directing a
film other than parody.

I really love this movie. It is one of the best movies to
watch with someone you really love. The movie shows all
different kinds of movies and not just romance.

I only got to see parts of it with my sister-in-law as I am
on Social Security and could not afford to buy it on my
own. Anyway my sister-in-law apparently loaned it to
someone and my brother doesn't know who. I am getting my
haircut like hers today, but I was trying to find a good
photo of her and couldn't. She was terrific in that movie.

GHOST IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS EVER MADE.the script is
ingenious, the screenplay is amazingly good, and the blend
of genres works really well. the chemistry between
characters is really evident. it's perfect! :o)xxx

"Ghost" is the perfect hallmark for anyone with a romantic
heart. The sentimental touches are what made it enjoyable
for me. I felt that Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze had
wonderful chemistry, and I thought their romance was very
believable. I enjoyed watching Swayze's Sam Wheat
character trying to make sense of everything, and learning
how to use undeveloped skill with the help of a callous,
wacked-out ghostly trainer. The story is quite touching.
A romance ended tragically by someone else's greed. And the
ghostly personage who comes back to his grieving lover to
both protect her and comfort her. I have reserved a
special place in my heart for this film. It's a special
motion picture event.

The star of this film is Whoopi Goldberg, whose performance
as the feisty medium is so brilliant that I've
awarded "Ghost" 4 stars. Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze play
roles which could've been done as well by many other
actors, but it's hard to imagine any other actress who
could've done as superbly as Goldberg. Her timing and
facial expressions are so excruciatingly right for whatever
mood she's playing that I was sufficiently mesmerised to
rush out and immediately buy the video.Apart from that -
the film appeals because it promises life after death -
something which I sincerely hope is true, though my
scientific mind tells me that without hard, solid proof,
ghosts and other "evidence" of survival beyond the grave
are merely an expression of humanity's dread of total
extinction. I've seen this film now at least 30 times, and
intend to go on seeing it. Whoopi's appalled expression
when she first realises that a ghost is REALLY
communicating to her is one of the most priceless moments
in movie history.
