This is by far the worst movie ever made. The person who
complimented Ernest and director John Cherry on the film
was obviously in some way associated with Ernest Goes to
Jail.

In remembrance of my favorite funny man on the day of his
death, I feel this was one of his best. Good 'ole "Ernest
P. Worrell.....Elctro-Man!" He was a one of a kind comic
and in spite of all the crap that is released by Hollywood
today, kept it very clean. The Ernest series seemed to be a
lttle lacking in story lines later on so i think this
and "Ernest Scared Stupid" are my favorite. I'm 45 and sad
to say ther will be no more.I'll miss you, Ernest.

I think other peoples opinion of Jim Varneys character
"Ernest" being obnoxious is so narrow. Some people love
"Ernest" and I personally think his character is so funny
and pleasing to his audience. If only there were moire
.Ernest movies. He brings joy to adults and children. He's
got a great face. He is rated up there with W.C. His
character should get 10 stars.

This was the best of all the Ernest movies and is one of my favorite movies. Another one of Jim Varney's best roles was the voice of slinky dog in Toy Story 1&2
