Once in awhile everything comes together right and we are
previleged to witness true movie magic. "Enchanted April"
is
one of these gems. If perhaps one in 50 movies is
really worth owning, this is one of them. Highly
recommended
for the romantics among us.

This film is the rare remake that infinitely improves on
the original, in this case the Enchanted April of (1935)
with the bumbling Frank Morgan as a not very convincing
Englishmen. It is worth seeing the original, which is
romantic comedy light and brushes over the finer feelings
with the cliches of gushing romance.
