My wife expressed it thusly: Jane Austen wrote a lot of
books but if you've read one, you've read them all. This
movie truly had nothing objectionable in it but then again
it didn't seem to have anything in it. It was a most
unfulfilling movie watching experience.

I think this movie terrible!! I watched it on New Years
with my parents and we about turned it off, but we were
waiting for a good part, of course it never came.

I think this movie was absolutely lovely. It is a story
about what we all want in life-true love. When Emma finally
finds her true love, it's like you have found it along with
her. It also has some comic relief since we all know that
these characters either resemble us or people that we know
or have known. Jane Austen truly knows human behavior.

First of all, Jeremy Northam is very charming in this
movie. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. This movie is
really great, one of the best British shows I've seen this
year. Great acting, great actors, the scenery is
beautiful. If you are looking for a great romance/comedy,
rent Emma. Great Movie!!
