I am a black belt in martial arts. I have read most of
Bruce Lee's book. I thought the movie did a great job on
portraying his life.
"The only thing belts are good for, are to hold your pants
up," as Bruce would say numerous times. Black belt or white
belt, the classical mess has confused martial minds of
many.
Through this film, the struggles over discrimination in the
martial arts, love and fame, are portrayed very well. This
film is a must see, for the understanding of the life
of Bruce Lee and the wonderful introduction to rarely seen,
of the remarkable art of Kung Fu.
