This is the kind of movie that today I feel sorry about
going to see, albeit I probably went just to see how
ludicrous it really is. If anyone is interested in knowing,
Douglas' father, Kirk, said 3 years after the film in an
interview with New York Newsday that the story here
resembles the bibical incident involving Joseph and
Potiphar's wife. As disgusting a matter in history as that
is though, that does not mean that it should have to be
retold, even in a fictional way. After all, sexual
harrassment by women is something that's otherwise very
rare, and in fact, it's insulting whenever in general
Hollywood tries to villify women. Right, and all for the
sake of Michael Douglas' unworthy career, as well as trying
to buy off viewers' attention with the help of the sight of
computer technology. It may not be as noxious as Fatal
Attraction, but it's not really worth viewers time either,
and even the aforementioned computer hardware cannot serve
as an excuse to see this almost totally ridiculous movie.
Please skip it, and please don't get any of the wrong ideas
from what I'm saying either. And besides, is this the kind
of role that Demi Moore should have to take? Most certainly
not.
