I know Hollywood is bent on humiliating comic books like
Batman and so on. And by producing movies as tiresome as
this, they've told me that they're bent on humiliating
newspaper comic strips as well. I'll admit that dear Walter
Matthau made a pretty good George Wilson, but the
cleverness stops there. With the exception of his casting,
the rest of movie is just a collection of boring Home Alone
style jokes, and despite the presence of a fine
cast(including Paul Winfield as a senior LA County police
officer), the movie is nothing special at all. Stick to the
regular comic strips instead.

I think Dennis The Menace totally rocks. Joan Plowright
(MARTHA) is my favorite character as well as my favorite
actress.I think the actors and the actresses did a good job
in making the film.
