Across Site
and a sympathetic attorney battling the mob, it was nothing
special, and after seeing it, I think I can understand why
Joel Schumacher is sometimes considered a director of the
bombast. Even the John Grisham book on which it's based may
not have been a big deal either. I recall that a few years
ago there had even been a tv series based on the book, but
considering how both the book and the movie based on it
were mediocre at best(certainly the movie), it's no
surprise that it didn't last too long. And people who watch
this film probably won't stay with it for long either.
