comic book purists who would rather just stay at home and
read the regular books instead. Tim Burton's 2 movies were
nothing to crow over, and if his weren't very impressive,
then Schumacher's 2 movies aren't either. And they're not.
Even this movie was pretty tired, and even soundtrack songs
like "Kissed by a Rose" didn't help. Also, this movie is
even less faithful to the source materiel than the first
two movies ever were. It's just a garish mess, and even
Carrey's role as the Riddler wasn't interesting, ditto
Jones' role as Two-Face. And the title of this movie is

once again perfect as the understated Alfred with
excellent performances by newcomers Val Kilmer (Bruce
Wayne/Batman), Chris O'Donnell (Dick Grayson/Robin), and
Nicole Kidman (Psychiatrist Chase Meridian). However, the
film really works because of the performances of Tommy Lee

portraying the dual personalities of Harvey Dent/Two Face
and his makeup job is excellent as well. Jim Carrey is

Nigma/The Riddler as well. However, one wonders how
different the film would have been if Michael Keaton had
returned as the Caped Crusader and if Robin Williams had
been cast as The Riddler.
