This is not a review but a question - if anyone out there
can answer. I would like to know if David, one of the
original participants in 7 Up is himself of Bulgarian
origin. David chose not to continue participating in the
series but did participate in 35 Up. As I recall, he
married the daughter of the British Ambassador to Bulgaria
and wanted to bring attention to the situation in Bulgaria
to the world's attention- that was the reason he gave for
taking part in 35 Up.

Michael Apted is such a brilliant director, and he's very
good at directing documentary films too. This docufilm is
one of his best works. I hope that 42 Up, the next
installment in Apted's docuseries will be brought to Utah
and reviewed here too, it just came out in theaters a few
weeks ago. See that movie as well.
