If the Jazz get rebounds like they did the last game. They will win the game. I think tonight win will be a last second shot. It's going to be a great game. I'm excited. I have a great feeling about tonights game.

The Lakers will be out rebounding yet again tonight as with the last game will still get the 'W'.

Last time I checked, if the ball goes in the hoop there is no available offensive rebound. If the Jazz had made their shots in Game 1 they would have won the game. Let me think, would I rather have lots of rebounds, or win the game? Uh, I think I'd rather win the game than the rebounding category. What a stupid article.

Jazz have a lot to do in the win column.

Man Jazz out of sink. 4 5 missed shots by Deron and Boozer. And result down by 13. Deron playing not good just come out flat. memo too. 1st quarter is over. Change needs...
no complaints | 9:57 p.m. May 7, 2008
so far there is only a 3 foul discrepency at half time and the Lakers have shot 19 FT to the Jazz 6. The stats support what I'm watching - the Jazz are committing shooting fouls as opposed to the personal fouls the Lakers are committing. So- I don't want to hear complaints about the free throw discrepency.

Where's the pep in the Jazz' step? We looked extremely flat to start the game.

Say goodbye to hollywood jazz boys. game over. you will win one on the home hardwood but that's it. 4-1 thrashing in the series most likely. too bad NBA basketball is rigged by the refs and the commish.

Game is over. JAzz doesn't even have a chance get a closer. With 2 slow motion big guys no chance at all. Lakers just too fast that's it they are not playing great just enough to win. One thing give a some space for Korver he can shoot. All his shot was contested no wonder FG % so low. Stop using Boozer and Memo in this series they are worthless. Small lineup maybe better.
... Fisher collected almost 30 point that's just humiliating, I know how good is he but not that good oh chr..sake. BTW 4th AK foul on Kobe he is carried the ball I saw in slow replay DVR.
Jazz needs MAN UP.

Rigged? Phooey!! It's who wants it, and the Lakers want it worse. Get out the brooms for a Laker sweep. Series over.

The Jazz are playing like they don't believe they can beat the Lakers. Just because the Jazz are going home, that doesn't automatically mean everything is going to be okay. The Lakers are a good road team, and have beaten the Jazz on their court (without Gasol). The Jazz have to learn to stop playing from behind. The Lakers quickness and speed and length isn't going to go away, and it's clearly bothering the Jazz. It's not the refs and the games aren't rigged, it's the Jazz's inability to stop the Lakers on the offensive end.

Total FTs for series is 89-46 in favor of LA. Interestingly 23-27 with Jazz having less TO's and more FGM at 81-72. Can't wait for the home cooking...
Kobe got fouled | 12:09 a.m. May 8, 2008
Watch the game again and watch AK and others fould the crap out of kobe. All this talk about the refs and stuff give me a break. Hope you enjoyed your brief stint in the playoffs.
fouls | 5:24 a.m. May 8, 2008
The fact that the foul discrepency is only 9 fouls in the series should be a pretty good indicator that the refs are calling it straight.

The fact that the FT are so different is because the Jazz commit their fouls against the Lakers when the Lakers are shooting - the Jazz need to be a step faster so they can foul before the shot.

Don'tn blame the refs - even Sloan called this out . . . again.
fouls - my mistake | 8:13 a.m. May 8, 2008
I said there was a 9 foul discrepency and it's really a 16 foul discrepency.

Why does everyone forget that the Jazz led the league in FPG this year with 24? Sloan has said the Jazz were playing poor defense and committing too many fouls all year.

Game 1: Jazz 33 F Lakers 27 F
The Jazz committed 5-7 fouls at the end of the game to stop the clock - otherwise even.

Game 2: Jazz 30 F Lakers 20 F
The Jazz again committed end game fouls so it's still pretty close.

If you need more proof that the Lakers dont' get playoff privileges at home look at the first 2 games in LA against Denver where the Lakers committed more fouls.

Game 1: Lakers 28 F Nuggets 24 F
Game 2: Lakers 26 F Nuggets 27 F

Where's the home cooking there? I'm telling you, the Jazz are just fouling the shooter way too much. Go back and watch the game - the fouls the Lakers commit are on rotation defense etc but the Jazz are going for pump fakes and not covering the lane.
