How is the 400 West alignment going to work with the existing North Temple viaduct and the proposed Trax/Frontrunner transfer station? A graphic illustrating that section would make this article more informative and comprehensive.

There are two graphics showing the trax lines. What are you complaining about Jeff?

In the argument against the 600 West alignment, residents say that route would increase crime and traffic. My question is, how? 600 West might be the wrong alignment, but that seems like a gargage argument to me. The garbage increase in crime argument is also being used by the vocal minority in Draper that do not want Trax to be built on an existing rail line. If you're going to argue against Trax, at least make it a legit argument.

The council's vote tonight to put TRAX on 400 west will essentially be the end of the Intermodal HUB. Now everyone will exit Frontrunner at North Temple and as a result, leave the HUB nothing more than a Greyhound station. It will never be completed as planned; and with a failed HUB/Bus station one block away from the homeless shelter, you can say hello to more of the crime and blight that you thought a viaduct would bring. This is a foolish mistake but I'm in no way surprised. This whole HUB idea was a total bait and switch from the beginning. Oh and P.S., a 1-lane TRAX bridge would resemble a monorail more than it would resemble a huge viaduct. Anyone who has seen one of these dedicated train bridges knows that they don't look bad at all.
