how come the mathesons get public buildings named after themselves without making large donations like the Eccles, Marriotts, Huntsman. Isn't norma the daughter of and heir to the fortune left by the M. Warshaw of grand central stores fame.

Keep Dreaming

Same old line year after year. I seem to recall the same prediction last election cycle.

Time for change

I think the Matheson is right this year, especially after the Republican fiasco today of the delegates voting in Chris Butters and Lavar Christensen. The arrogance of the Utah Republican party leaders is astounding. I can't believe how out of touch they are with the moderate wing (which is the majority) of the Republican party. Many, including me as a long-time Rupublican, will be voting for the Democrats.

Not Yet

I could almost vote for a Matheson. Too bad he is alignted with a bunch of Pelosi's, Obama's, and Kennedy's.
When the Dem's get a little more centerist socially and economically, then my admiration for their views on the environment and other issues will let me consider them, but I'm not holding my breath.

logical

Not Yet...worry less about alignment and more about individual action. I can't tell you how tired I am from hearing this blind allegiance to the Republican Party that will not even consider ethics reform, tort reform, etc. And then blind bashing of the Democratic Party for gay rights, abortion, etc. I do not support either platform 100% because I really still believe in a Republican that can be fiscally responsible and moderate, a Democrat that is believes in the sanctity of life, but in Utah I have to add the easter bunny, toothe fairy, etc.
