All I can say is, "we thanks thee oh God for a prophet."

I have a feeling President Monson will endear many to him as well. When it is all said and done.

Good man.
Have you noticed | 4:30 p.m. May 3, 2008
Have you noticed the change that has come over him since becoming President?
I don't know the word... just more humble and dignified and inspiring.

I find his stories are kinda boring. Ya hear the same ones over and over.

There's a concept in marketing that says that in order to keep a concept in the minds of the public, it should be repeated 3 times. As LDS Members, we heard the same principles and values being taught over and over The scriptures are the same however, everytime we read it, we learn from them. But, and this is the key, we learn when we listen with our hearts and minds. As any other parent, who repeats the same thing to his/her kids because they need to learn, maybe Heavenly Father is giving the same lessons to us through his serveants, the prophets.

We are so blessed to have him as our seer and revelator. He is a special man and we have loved him foe alot of years. Yes, he is a great story teller. We need him so much in our lives. Our Father in Heaven knows our needs and has fulfilled this calling with greatness. Amen

It is kind of like the Ten Commandments, are they boring too...we keep hearing the story over and over again. And in different ways too, but the same story, lest we forget, lest we forget.
Always humble | 7:07 a.m. May 4, 2008
President Monson has always been humble, dignified and inspiring, but now he has the mantle of being the only man on earth holding the keys to the priesthood.

"Read his book," perhaps you should review once again his stories that remind us to be positive and uplifting.

I feel we are blessed at this time and in the world we live in to have a prophet such as President Monson. He is and always has been a master storyteller. I look forward to hearing what he has to say, each and every time he speaks to us. I know we are in good hands!

Truly,we can find joy each day if we appreciate that it is a privilege to be in this mortality,-to serve, to strive, to learn and grow.President Monson reaches out in love with a master story teller's approach and the sensitive feelings and blessings of Heavenly Father's true Prophet in our time.We are blessed to have him at the time the Lord wants us to.

ALL I CAN SAY IS - Like all gifts which cometh from above, words are sacred, and must be spoken with care, and by constraint of the Spirit (D&C 63:64). It is with this realization of the power
and sanctity of words that I wish to caution us, if caution is needed, regarding how we speak to each other and how we speak of ourselves. There is a line from the Apocrypha which puts the seriousness of this issue better than I can. It reads, 'The stroke of the whip maketh marks in the flesh: but the stroke of the tongue breaketh the bones (Ecclesiasticus 28:17).
