And recall if you will, that the demolitions of WTC 1, 2, & 7 were just part of the story. Al Qaeda was created by the CIA. They were used in the in the Kosovo war by the CIA. Some hijackers were trained at U.S. military bases. There were several 'war games going on that day that mimicked the actual attacks, sowing confusion. The odds of that? Four pilot crews failed to follow established and well trained procedure that day... the odds of that happening? The plane that 'crashed' at Shanksville had an eight mile long debris field... Crashed or Shot down? Ask cui bono.. who benefitted? What has happened to our Bill of Rights? Gone. Who is able to declare martial law in a heartbeat and assume complete control? What happened to your rights? Why does 'Homeland Security' direct its attention against innocent Americans? Why have 800 'detention' camps been created by KBR, a Haliburton subsidiary? For Whom? Why was the military already in position to invade Afghanistan and plans for invasion on Bush"s desk - before - 9/11? And why was anthrax sent to only the 2 senators who would have stopped the Patriot Act? Why?

Sounds like we need the real Dr. Jones to help us out.

Lucky for us he returns to the big screen this summer.

Can't wait.

bldg 7 had me suspecting intel agency involvement since the beginning.

I recently watched a video on the pentagon that has been circulating for a while was forced to watch photos of the exterior of the pentagon.
Simply no damage beyond the 15 ft. blast hole, or at least nothing consistent with extreme impact of giant steel jet engines. I had forgotten this important aspect of the case.

If a intel operation, then who? And why? This is the story.

The pulverized concrete, the molten metal, the very small refuse pile which should have been many stories tall, all point not to explosives but to Directed Energy Weapons. Also solves the problem of whistle blowers, not much of a crew needed.
To Zica | 9:22 p.m. May 3, 2008
From Student,
dar7yl is right steel becomes maleable around 740C. It changes crystal structure at that temp. It goes from a strong body centered cube to a weak face centered cube. The metal also expands and break any concrete holding it in place. The concrete also changes its structure as it heats up and micro cracks that already exists in the cement propgate throughout the biulding. The strength of the biulding becomes exponentially weaker. Now please give me some engineering based response that will refute what I have said. Otherwise spend your time trying to find the traitors that caused the collapse. If you find them let the whole world know so we can lock you up in a loony bin because they don't exist and never will. you can't refute what thousands of engineers have already proven 1000 times over. the towers were destroyed by planes and the other biulding burned to the ground. No one else was involved except Bin Landin.

From Australia, Congratulations Desert News and staff and congratulations to Prof Jones for all his work and dedication. Some posters imply that he is some sort of fool. Do not worry about that Professor, over four years many coleagues said that to me. Different attitude now, been a hile since that claim has been made. The sands are shifting and the 100th monkey is about to wash his potatoes.
Sorry professor that you were unable to stay with us on march 14-16th!!!
The next and existing really big conspircay to examine is the mass media blackout and misinformation campaign waged against those merely seeking the truth. There is going to have to be a lot of explaining to do!!
Dr. G | 10:30 p.m. May 3, 2008
As I passed the World Trade Center site earlier this week, I reflected on:
-The hatred of the Muslim terrorists that killed so many men, women, and children. "You love life, but we love death." They raise children as terrorists.
-The initial courage of our nation and continued courage of our armed forces in removing safe harbors for terrorists and demagogues.
-That in only a few years, the more part of the people in this nation had forgotten what happened.
A young girl in my sons first grade class lost her father in the World Trade Center. As I played with my son today, I thought of how this girl will never have the same privilege with her father. I cringe to think that a member of my religion is unwittingly assisting those that killed this girls father.

A meaningless publication by a conspiracy theorist with a long history of dubious research is not news. The Deseret News should not give Dr. Jones a platform from which to spread conspiracies.
stop scaring me... | 10:52 p.m. May 3, 2008
You conspiracy theorists...sorry, "truth seekers" are scaring me. I hope the D-News provides your addresses to the men in the white coats (I'm sure most of you have already thought it might happent).

Many in Europe and the Middle East people believe in some sort of inside conspiracy for 9-11. Thanks for helping in your small way to perpetuate this dangerous blather.

Problem with conspiracies is they rely on an unbelievable amount of events to all come together perfectly and for dozens or hundreds of people on the inside to do deeds and remain silent. And in this case, many believe the media were on it.

PEOPLE WAKE UP...our media and Congress call a hearing for far less. Do you think if anyone had a hint of fishy business, that we wouldn't have people crawling all over this to uncover the 'truth'?

I could refute all the questions of Dr. Jones myself and I am not an engineer...
Brandon Budd | 10:57 p.m. May 3, 2008
Dr. Jones,
From the bottom of my heart - thank you. The 9/11 false-flag event has changed everything and this is another strong step towards the truth, and justice and peace. I bought the BIG-LIE for six apathetic years, but I AM AWAKE and working hard to live up to the responsibility of knowing and spreading the truth. I've worked in the architectural and construction industry for 15 years and am a proud member of AE911truth (architects and engineers for 9/11 truth). I also started a web site by the name of truthseeds.org upon learning of the 9/11 lies we were told. The work you are doing is a god-send to help us fight tyranny. I pray for you and all the patriots that are risking all in this important and historic effort. I urge everybody to spread these truths far and wide. 9/11 Truth is the message of hope and peace for generations to come and it is our duty to awaken the people. Learn more about false-flag terrorism and Google Operation Northwoods and Gulf of Tonkin. INVESTIGATE 9/11!!! (Thanks to the Tad and the DesNews - keep it up).

Dar7yl, May-03-2008, why are you not aware of the fact that molten steel was found pooled beneath ALL 3 collapsed WTC buildings? This steel remained molten for 17 weeks, regardless of constant, heavy dowsing with water. Please explain this phenomenon, in whatever words you can conjour. How long do you think it takes for a poured steel casting, in a foundry, to cool down to solid state, under ambient conditions ... NO added cold water?
Craig D | 11:05 p.m. May 3, 2008
To the numerous posters who speculate that 'hundreds' of people must be involved and that they could not possibly keep quiet
It is pure speculation that it took 'hundreds'. It is just as plausible to say it could have been pulled off using only 'tens' with a need to know. Those responsible are in the upper echelons of government, lots of power - lots of money - certainly they possess much more influence then the goof-balls lurking in caves in Afghanistan scenario we're supposed to swallow.
But that is secondary. Dr. Jones is not trying to unravel the whole story as to 'how they pulled it off', rather, he is pointing out that if you take an unbiased look at the collapse of the three towers hit by two planes, the official conspiracy theory involving the collapse of three buildings due to airplanes filled with, essentially, kerosine (most of which blew out the other side of the buildings in a fireball moments after impact) striking two buildings, doesn't add up. His work points in the direction the evidence leads, pure & simple.
Some don't like that, so they resort to ad-hominem.
Dennis | 11:21 p.m. May 3, 2008
Carl, May 3 2008, how do you think thousands of people of all disciplines, in several countries, kept quiet while the atomic bomb was in process of creation and after, during WW2. WTC building collapsing would be a breeze by comparison.
Sitting-Bull | 11:24 p.m. May 3, 2008
Watch out for the brainwash methods to keep the sheeple "sound". Inflicting some kind of patriotism, say that conspiracy theorists would harm the victims relatives...Such stuff. It is only used to shield your mind from the hard facts that can not be disputed.

Congrats Dr. Jones.

To the "Steel has only to soften" fraction: How can you explain fine vanadium particles in the WTC dust?
Google Trade Center air laden with
very fine particles, DELTA scientists find.

Steel does lose strength before is starts melting. But of the almost two hundred samples of metal taken from the floors the planes hit, over 98 percent of them had not even been heated to within 100 degrees of the point at which steel loses ANY strength. And the 2 samples that had shown any strength loss, only showed minimal loss. Go to the NSTA website and read the report yourself. If you don't believe there is a coverup, just read that report. I've never seen such illogical, poorly written, much too long piece of goo in my life. If you don't come away truly concerned, you've never even had high school physics.
Dennis | 11:31 p.m. May 3, 2008
Ekim, May 3 2008, it is not for Prof. Jones to produce the culprits. He is presenting you with the facts proving it was an inside job. It is up to the people of the world to find and deal with the culprits. Millions of dead in the needless wars which followed demand it.
Tank | 12:17 a.m. May 4, 2008
Dr. G:

A conspiracy is a group of people planning to commit a crime. The official story of 19 young Arabs planning a crime is thus a conspiracy. The FBI says there is not enough proof to indict OBL. Some of the Arabs accused of the crime are still alive.
honestly | 12:40 a.m. May 4, 2008
if this "conspiracy" were true, do you realize how many people would have to be keeping a secret? Anyone with any kind of common sense or knowledge of human behavior knows how difficult it is to get people to keep their mouths shut and this theory presupposes that literally DOZENS, HUNDREDS, or THOUSANDS of people are involved and are sworn to secrecy and are continuing to remain silent. Puh-leeze. Physics doesn't explain this. Psychology does. People can't keep their mouths shut, especially Jones, apparently.
Sheeple All | 12:43 a.m. May 4, 2008
It's numbingly obvious that the truth-seekers like Dr. Jones are onto something, but none of them have the courage to stand up and say what we're all really thinking. Some scoff at theories that there never were any planes that struck the towers, but the real truth is that there were never any towers in the first place. The seeming problems with this idea are easily justifiable simply by observing the standards of evidence that we Truthers have embodied from the start. For example:

1) The towers' demolition was seen on TV, but this was all CGI, from the crashes to the towers' falls.

2) We've seen pictures of the towers for nearly 30 years, but these are all a clever government psy-op planted to get us to believe the "official story".

3) Some people, even you, may believe they have seen the towers in-person, or been in them, but this is clearly a case of mass delusion in support of the aforementioned psy-op, as was the planted delusion that people actually saw the towers fall. The government doesn't have to keep people quiet, because they really BELIEVE they have seen or visited these so-called "towers".
Matt | 12:48 a.m. May 4, 2008
The simple fact that 9/11 Truthers have to come to terms with (and can never logically refute) is the unfathomable level of coordination and cover up that such an "inside job" would involve. Oh, it isn't that I think our government has never tried to "cover up" anything-- I know they have. It's a documented fact.

And that's the point, isn't it? How do I accept the premise of a government 9/ll coverup when there so many examples of failed coverups that required infinitely less intrigue, logistics, and sheer manpower? The Reagan administration couldn't pull off an arms for hostages deal without notice, but the Bush administration kills over 3000 american citizens, frames Bin Laudin and gets virtually the entire world to buy into it? Can anyone point to an instance in human history where a conspiracy of such magnitude has ever been attempted, let alone accomplished?

Logistics and evidence can be mangled with to the grave, but sometimes you simply have step back and follow a line of thought to it's inevitable conclusion.

Cold fusion didn't pan out, so now we're on to 9/11 conspiracy theories!! This is what happens when you give tenure to the marginally sane.
LanceThruster | 1:07 a.m. May 4, 2008
The government let evidence at a crime scene be destroyed. Dr. Jones was one of the first authoratative voices to express doubts of the official version based on rational examination of the facts. It is to his credit to still be pursuing the truth despite the obstacles.

I would love to see test models setup to try to duplicate the failures claimed to have happened that day. I would like to see some research center fly a jumbo jet into a reinforced concrete wall and watch the wings fold up and follow the fuselage through the hole.

I would like to see the true perpetrators revealed and punished. If it does happen, it will only have been because of the courageous actions of individuals such as Dr. Jones.
zica | 1:09 a.m. May 4, 2008
Student,

First, are you suggesting that the entire mass of steel in the Towers reached 740C and changed its crystal structure? This does not jive (that's an engineering term) with the facts. Please stick to at least the facts established by NIST, if you're trying to support their explanation, which only goes to the point when the towers (not wtc7) were "poised for collapse".

Second, "...and the other biulding burned to the ground." I assume you're referring to WTC7? Take a look at the video of its destruction. It went from 47 stories tall to nothing in around 6 or 7 seconds. You call that burning to the ground? If you are seriously suggesting this, you should write to NIST and let them know how easy it is to explain. And maybe ask them why they haven't been able to do that as of yet.

Third, threatening the "loony bin" for those that want a discussion of the facts only shows your lack of serious argument.
zica | 1:23 a.m. May 4, 2008
Student,

Fourth, "you can't refute what thousands of engineers have already proven 1000 times over."

That premise is obviously untrue.

Fifth, are engineers, such as yourself, required to understand the part of Newton's Third Law that talks about force applied in a certain direction meeting an equal force applied in the opposite direction? If so, how do explain the symetrical destruction at virtually free fall speed? As others have said, the core columns were tapered at the top and thicker at the bottom. 10% of the building is not going to destroy the 90% below it, especially not at free fall speed.

Please keep this discussion going, as I am truly interested in your responses to these points.

-- NIST says steel was not hot enough ("These [steel] microstructures show no evidence of exposure to temperatures above 600C for any
significant time"

-- Destruction at free fall speed also reported by NIST

-- Newton's Third Law evaded by NIST because they didn't talk about anything that happened after the towers were "poised for collapse".

While I understand why BYU "divorced" Dr. Jones, I applaud him for his research and dedication in the face of adversity. He probably feels like a lot of political/religious leaders we know who at one time appeared crazy but were later exonerated. He is going about this the right way and hopefully he'll get the respect and recognition that this issue deserves

To Terrible Herbst and His or Her Ad Hominem Ilk,

Dr. Jones' research on fusion was not always popular, but he was correct and was validated after publishing peer-reviewed papers in Scientific American, Physical Review Letters, and Nature.

Here's a quote, referencing Dr. Jones work, from another scientist's paper in the European Journal of Physics in 2006.
As shown in [Europhys. Lett. 68:363 (2004)], the screening energy of order 300 eV determined in accelerator experiments can explain the neutron production rate observed by Jones et al. [Nature 338:737, 19899] at room temperature.
K. Czerski, et al., Eur. Phys. J. A27:S01,83 (2006)

And here's a quote from Dr. Jones. "The idea of science is free inquiry, free speech and experiments to determine what is correct, whats true. It is really not a matter of what is popular at any given time."

Those such as Dr Jones are not actually truth seekers. They start with a theory and then look for anything that can in any way be manipulated to serve as some sort of evidence for it. The evidence he advances for the use of thermite or a derivative is simply pathetic.
Stop Bush | 5:10 a.m. May 4, 2008
Matt: Yes, a conspiracy of similar magnitude has been attempted and accomplished before.

The Nazis burned the Reichstag for their total power grab and successfully framed their opponents.

Nazi agents dressed up in Polish uniforms and fired some shots on their own people, to create the impression that they're attacking Poland in self-defense.

Both of these conspiracies were uncovered only years later, after everything the Nazis hoped to get out of it was done.

Yes, it is hard to keep everyone who was involved silent - assuming they're still alive. Given one of the planes was full of people who would have the right skills to pull this off (CIA agents, demolition experts, aircraft engineers), chances are quite a few of the low level participants have been disposed of in the very event they helped organize (of course, they would have been told that the plane they're about to enter is safe).

I'm not sure what really happened on 9/11, but the "inside job" theory has far less unanswerable questions than the official story, therefore I'm more inclined to believe that.
Stop Bush | 5:16 a.m. May 4, 2008
The freefall collapse of the 3 towers isn't the only oddity here - I think what happened at the Pentagon is equally questionable.

Everyone, including potential terrorists, knows that no plane is allowed anywhere near the Pentagon, the Pentagon is surrounded by airforce bases, and equipped with anti-aircraft missile launchers.

A terrorist planning to fly a plane into the Pentagon would have known that after even marginal research (and I think we can all agree that whoever did 9/11 was evil, but not stupid). So in order to think there's even a remote chance of succeeding with such a plan, the terrorist would have had to KNOW there would be a stand-down.

But if you know the enemy you're about to attack WANTS you to succeed, do you still do it? That doesn't make sense to me.

At the very least, the terrorists must have had some inside assistance, and they must have known they'd have that.

Yet, no insider has been investigated for intentionally helping the terrorists.
ramper | 5:35 a.m. May 4, 2008
After seeing the NOVA and National Geo. programs that had some of the most dedicated and respected scientific and engineering minds present their FACTS why are we still discussing this? This was a terrorist act by enemies of humanity using flying bombs LOADED with Jet- A fuel. Dr. Jones should publish his science fiction novel and move on.

"SUSPICIOUS PATRIOT" is not representative of the 911 truth movement or any truth in general. He is COINTELPRO, a federal plant to muddy the waters and make all real truth seekers look as unscientific and off the mark as he is. Planes hit the buildings and SUSPICIOUS PATRIOT is advocating people watch "911 clues" which puts forth the absurd and totally debunked idea that no planes hit the building. Dr. Jone's work is pure science, irrefutable and sound. Please look at real evidence, not manufactured propaganda.

Where's Common Sense? | 6:27 a.m. May 4, 2008
I applaud free thinkers, but what we're lacking in today's world is commonsense, which Mark Twain said is not common. I watched video of two jet airliners crashing into the Twin Towers. Do I need to be a metallurgist or a civil engineer to understand that this caused the towers as well as a third building to collapse? No. Some highly respected scientists are still seeking irrefutable evidence of Bigfoot. Commonsense tells me that if there ever was such a thing as Bigfoot we would already have irrefutable evidence in the form of a carcass. Why would Bigfoots be the only animals on earth, including humans, who don't occasionally turn up either as roadkill or the victim of a poacher? And why would an alien travel from a planet so far away that he would have to leave home at the time Tyranusaurus Rex ruled the earth in order to get to earth simply to leave crypic and incomprehensible crop circles? Maybe common sense isn't so common that all of us have it. But those of us who have a moderate amount of it don't want to associate ourselves with people who evidence a decided lack of it.
Top Secret | 7:00 a.m. May 4, 2008
Having participated in a few military exercises myself, there is no way, in my opinion, which the truth-seekers will be quick to dismiss, that so few people could be involved in the planning and execution of such a large-scale attack on New York City. The mass confusion among FAA controllers in the hijacking timeline alone demonstrates how events can transpire for hours without ANYONE knowing what is going on.

The most compelling story, for me, is how CNN and other news agencies reported the collapse of a WTC building before it actually collapsed. Could the massive confusion have continued this long? Or did news agencies stop real journalism and resort to hearsay and rumor for the rest of the day? I'm inclined to believe that both happened on 9/11.

Nobody believes FDR ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor. Why would anyone believe that Bush would do the same? The official story has a streak of "reasonableness" that the truth-seeker story does not. Sorry.

"Cold fusion didn't pan out, so now we're on to 9/11 conspiracy theories!! This is what happens when you give tenure to the marginally sane."

Ad hominem attack much?

This is what happens when you give laymen an outlet for discussion when said laymen doesnt appraise himself of the facts.

Go ahead and try and figure out how many people it would take or debate the "weakening" point of steel, but the cold hard fact remains: Dr. Jones has found physical, documented proof that explosives were used.

You have to deal with this! Nobody can make you pull your heads out of the sand or remove your "rah rah America" patriotic blindfold for you.

Look at ALL the evidence, stop playing name calling games and act like adults. Dr. Jones research is serious and one should take a serious look at it. Once again:

Free-fall "collapse"
Molten metal, weeks later
Formerly MOLTEN Iron-rich microspheres
Pulverized concrete, office supplies, people, etc
Lateral ejection of steel columns weighing several tons up to 450 ft

Deal with it

The Titanic sank almost 90 years ago, and people are STILL trying to find out exactly why. No one tries to stop them, and no one tries to use the mass media and the government apparat to smear their reputations and have them blacklisted so they can't earn a living.

So why is the "government" (meaning the Bush administration) so afraid of independent investigation into 9/11? What are they so afraid of? The truth?

I was trained as a scientist though I'm admittedly not an expert in engineering. The last thing in the world I want to believe is a conspiracy theory, yet after spending several hours reviewing all of the public information I can find on the internet concerning the collapse of building 7, I see huge holes in the official version of the theory of why that building collapsed. Like many americans I watched days of media reporting during and after the 9/11 event. There were numerous highly detailed reports about the collapse of the twin tours, but very very little about the collapse of building 7. I'm amazed at the time line of events concerning that building, the fact that it wasn't struck by a plane, didn't have any other building fall on it, didn't appear to have significant fire, the firemen who were warned to stay away from it, because "it was going to fall," the news broadcasts reporting its fall long before it actually fell, and the way it fell, exactly like a controlled demolition. One theory about the lack of news coverage was that there weren't any people in it when it fell. But something is not right.
Bob Maginnis | 7:55 a.m. May 4, 2008
So you are going to tell me that they rigged the building with explosives, but then the explosives and detonators survived a massive impact and fire that lasted for an hour? Get Real! Of course, there were groups like PNAC who wanted a new "Pearl Harbor," but they didn't need to rig the WTC with explosives.
arc | 8:02 a.m. May 4, 2008
The reason the 1st 2 towers fell is simple, they were hit by planes. I attended seminars by structural engineers that helped with the on site evaluation of the towers. There was no question that the heat caused the steel to go "junk" (it doesn't have to melt) and after the 1st tower failed, the 2nd would go. Structural engineers, much more respected than Mr. Jones have no government blame theory for the 1st two towers. They do point out that terrorists had already tried to destroy them years earlier, which could explain some of the materials found in the debris. The government didn't cause the deaths. Mr. Jones is wrong about the two towers and thousands of structural engineers would prove it to him if he would listen. He won't. His best source should be one from NY that develops post tension masonry tall buildings.

The 3rd tower is something else. See part two of this comment.
arc | 8:05 a.m. May 4, 2008
Post #2. The reason the 1st 2 towers fell is simple, they were hit by planes. See post #1.

That said, the real reason the 3rd tower fell is not released. It shouldn't have fallen. Engineers touring the site right after the collapse wondered if a government agency was storing explosive material in this 3rd tower, or what the government was storing in that building. No one was killed when this 3rd tower fell. Dr. Jones can play physics on this 3rd tower. He isn't going to look as much as a fool. He shouldn't figure that the persons behind the collapse of the 3rd tower, were behind one and two.
Dr. Steven E. Jones | 8:07 a.m. May 4, 2008
The comments themselves provide evidence for a sea-change in thinking about 9/11, for most commenters support the investigation of 9/11 physics facts, while those who do not support such research frequently resort to unsubstantiated ad hominems rather than science.

Did those raising objections actually read the peer-reviewed paper discussed in Tad Walch's commendable article? You can read this paper in the Open Civil Engineering Journal. (Google Fourteen Points Bentham Scientific.) Shouldn't one read the paper before attacking the authors? Why won't you confront the evidence raised in this technical paper rather than calling me "loony"?

In the end, all three peer-reviewers approved publication.

Great to hear from friends from the past, such as previous students and Trish Lewis -- so glad your family is doing well, Trish, in these troubled times. (I read your comment aloud to my wife, also sent you an email.)

George Kramer | 8:46 a.m. May 4, 2008
Arc, you are exactly right, and the facts given by Daryl on the first page are correct. I am a metallurgist. Steel (specifically the iron in the steel) undergoes a phase change (the atoms rearrange themselves into a different crystal structure) as temperature increases. The high-temperature structure is weaker. All metals "weaken" with heat, but steel is particularly vulnerable due to this change.
As for the lower floors appearing to "explode", this was due to a pressure wave ahead of the collapsing floors. It is the same effect as popping a sealed plastic bag.
People just want to believe that there is more to simple events, when they do not have the scientific background to comprehend the science. BUT, I will now cite something that has nothing to do with the science of the building collapse, which does make me suspicious. The financial manipulations of the airline stocks before the terror attacks made someone a boatload of money. How would they have known that the companies stocks were going to drop? Now, the US government has every excuse to dissolve our liberties, in the name of the "war", prompted by 9/11. It is the money trail, not the metallurgy.

Investigate the Henry A. Kissinger Roundtable on terrorism conducted by the CFR.

Note especially the involvement of John O'Neill, Jerome Hauer and Maurice sonenberg.

Sonenberg was Vice Chairman of Bremer's National Commission on Terrorism.

See also Carter, Detuch and Zelikow's _Catastrophic Terrorism_.

The WTC Privatization agreement is another big clue. It involved Ronald S. Lauder and Larry Silverstein, among others.

Good work, Dr. Jones, and to the many other dedicated scientists, engineers, and building professionals investigating this crime.

People attack the messenger, but don't want to deal in facts or account for ALL the evidence.

This topic, if it is approached at all, is dismissed, questioned, and denied because it is something that no one wants to consider--the possibility that they have been lied to, misled repeatedly or misguided unknowingly or ignorantly; and the possibility of having to confront that what one *wants* to believe is true could be really at odds with the facts.

Ask yourself if you are acting or reacting out of emotion, rather than a desire to know the facts of what happened. Many people make assumptions about what could have happened and why, without a true desire to know the facts. Read the government reports and opposing viewpoints.

An uneducated opinion, or assumption, or belief doesn't help.

For instance, read this article at ABC news. Since I can't post a link, you have to google. It's not related to Dr. Jones work, but I bet it's a surprise to many of you. Google: "cbs news $2.3 Trillion"

Sitting Bull...Vanadium is an addition to structural steel. Also, there were fine particles at the WTC collapse? NO? A pulverized building makes dust?
Denis Thiel, the molten steel below the building for 17 weeks is an urban myth. Any molten material solidifies based on physical facts, and, unless heat was being added, or the steel was well insulated, it was not liquid after that long. You wont find that on SNOPES, you would find that in physics and engineering class.
ZICA, you keep citing the NIST report concerning the temperature. Why are you being a hypocrite and using a government source to bolster one of your points, and bleating that we should not believe the government in the next breath?
As I said before, the science of the collapse is not in question. The clue that something may be wrong is the financial gain of so many people at the same time, especially the owner of the WTC complex, who took out a multi-billion insurance policy that summer. It is all about the money.

Every heard of the "Manhattan Project"? Thousands of people were working on the atomic bomb and nobody found out about it until it was ready. People do keep secrets, especially if they feel they are doing something patriotic, however twisted that sounds.

Don't forget about the Tuskegee experiment. That lasted 40 some odd years if I am correct.
