maybe you could get one of the old corrupt mayors to run the place. just an idea.
...that will cater to the Eagle Mountain mentality -- right? Remember, years ago, EM residents were complaining about stores that sole things like "inappropriate" magazines. They turned out to be McCalls, People, and other female-oriented magazines.
They'll still (most likely) have to drive miles to get their beer, liquor, magazines and non-Jello items.
You must be talking about Provo. It is actually quite humorous to read comments from people who have never been to Eagle Mountain and then make such ignorant comments. Why would Eagle Mountain people complain about magazines in stores in other cities? I have never heard of such a thing happening, and I'm sure you are making it up (in other words, prove what you are saying). I do remember this happened in my neighborhood in Provo but with Provo residents which led to covering up Cosmopolitan and other similar zines, not to mention the Victoria's Secrets Provo Towne Center fiasco.
Also, beer and alchol-pops are currently sold in EM at their two convenient stores. It is even sold on Sunday, and I wouldn't brag too much about the fact that some cities in Utah have liquor stores while EM and Saratoga Springs doesn't, when most states allow the privatization of liquor sales. The whole state of Utah is one of the weird step sisters when it comes to liquor sales.
Why should I listen to and value your opinions and judgments about a place you have obviously never been to and a people you have never met?
