Mr Shurtleff you better be aware that we the people of utah and the country are going to be watching you very closely. The constitution still exists in utah even texas but they don't know it right now, but they will.

lost in DC

sosueme, the constitution still exists, but it has often not stood in the way of corrupt judges.

Its about time something is done to stop the horrible, heinous crimes of FLDS Polygamy. Good luck to Mr. Shurtleff and Mr. Reid. We will all be watching and praying.

Government be ware when stomping on constitutional and civil rights. This Texas mess will cause grief for the Texas courts. As for Mr. Reid, again he opens his mouth and incerts his foot. He needs to look closely at his own state before he starts babbling about other states, typical Liberal senator.

Sen. Reid is losing his marbles. Who cares if he is embarrassed of Utah and Arizona? He embarrasses me. I still can't get over his press conference remark in Provo, UT that, "Pres. Bush is the best missionary for the democrat party." That would be just as offensive as Sen. Hatch saying that Pres. Clinton is the best missionary for the republican party. Sen. Hatch would never say such an offensive thing, BTW. Just humor Sen. Reid and hope that the good people in NV will vote him out soon.

I believe and know of abuse that has happened in the polygamous community. A woman in the Allred clan told me she was sexually abused by half-brothers since she was 7. No one did anything about it, including her. Because that's the way life is in their culture. I am sure that when the problem is continued to be dealt with by Utah authorities, it will be done constitutionally and more carefully than TX handled the recent raid.

WHAT???

So that whole mess in Texas is about religion not child endangerment?

I think its all a bunch of hog wash. People live in the United States for Freedom of Religion but than they have to have so many people in the office that all need to go home and take an enema.
