Utah Jazz: Team stays focused on task at hand
3 comments | Read story
I think the Jazz will end it tonight. They know how important rest is before facing the Lakers. Rockets will play tough on them tonight but Jazz is a tough team as well. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain tonight.
I am ready for Jazz to face the Lakers. The way Denver's been playing. Lakers will have a shock when they face the Jazz.
also aldeman is not only coaching he is coaching the referees thru media and doing a great job of it.its to bad they arnt playing like last year.they are playing scared the rockets are playing hard and being the agresser. they need to cut hard and run.holding grabing is not good basketball it dosnt work.

Obviously the Jazz can win in Houston but I am not certain they will close it out tonight--Houston will be tough at home. Adelman has whined about reffing endlessly.
Everybody complained about the Jazz sorry road record--they have not even lost yet on the road in the playoffs. Look at Detroit and Boston in the East--top seeds and their series are tied now.
It is very tough to close a team out--especially in the Western Conference (unless you are playing Denver). Denvers total lack of discipline/defense and HORRIFIC shot selection are simply unbelievable to watch. Denver.....the first 50 win team to get swept, and in a 7 game series no less. Inexcusable--the Lakers are not that good.
Hopefully we close it out tonight and get a few days rest. If we win, the next series will drag out forever because they will be manipulating the games to make the Lakers fit the prime time TV schedules. More days off in between games will not be bad for the Jazz (D-Will's butt) though.
