How could there be an ice age 10,000 years ago when the earth is precisely 6,000 years old?
biblical histroy starts 6000 year ago with adam and eve being kicked out of the garden of eden.
How long the actually creation process took and how long adam and eve were in the garden of eden is unknown.
The interpretation of "day" used in the bible and really almost any time mentioned ( such as 40 days and nights) in the bible are not literal interperetions.
The interptations that should have been if it was translated correctly are just words to connote a passage of time or a markation of time.
The actually lengths are unknown.
Although we know such as in the case of 40 days and 40 nights, that it wasn't a long time but perhaps anywhere from a couple weeks to few months.
Or moses and his people wandering for 40 years, that is was a lengthy time of many years.
(40 is used a lot for some reason and is probably a bad interpretion of some word used in the original texts).
Hubble showed us some pictures of 2 Galaxys Colliding very messy, very violent. Some higher life forms might have been able to escape that situation, perhaps several forms of life. Some might come here to settle.
That's alot of assumptions, but evoloution was never very scientific in thought, deed, or language.
If you believe in God or not. Or advanced beings or not.
If there is a God we know he not from this world which would make him an advanced being from somewhere else (extraterrestial).
If he is the god of the bible, then we know he capable of terraforming worlds and stars moons, etc.
How would you tell whether this world had been terraformed or not?
And what was already in the matter it was terraformed from?
The point is, science and us in general know very little about this world.
We can find old bones, old artifacts old formations and surmise about them but it doesn't make it true.
If we had technolgy as these so called advance beings how long could take us to make mountains, or make them flat again, or make a world?
We don't know, it is beyond our knowledge.
But whether you believe in the evolution stories even though they are based wholly on assumptions,
Or whether you believe in the bible which has NOT been proven false,
The possibilities are certainly interesting.
It can only make a best guess. Infer things from what if finds and make assumptions from those inferrals.
IT is only assumed the world is so old, only because it is assumed it takes a certain period time for things to happen.
But what if those assumptions are wrong?
What if all those assumptions evolution is based on are wrong?
What if is is possible to make things happen faster?
Science should be about opening doors of inquiries and possiblities, not shutting them down because they don't like someone elses answers.
