+1.

3/13 is pathetic.

For some reason, no one on this team can step up in the clutch at the moment.

So the most dominating center in history is 2nd tier because he can't hit his free throws. LOL

hey, all of those on the board telling what a loser Carlos is and how he is overrated...did it cross anyone's mind that maybe Scola is underrated? And here is an interesting thought...Boozer recognizes a problem in his game that he can control(he can not control refs or how the Rockets play defense) and does something about it...His free throws were enough to make the game...If the great Shaq would have ever done the same kind of self critique and put in the work to improve his free throws, nobody but him would have ever had a ring until he retired!

wow.

Lay off of Booze. The ROCKETS HAVE THE BEST INTERIOR DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE. And second best all around defense behind Boston.

There are only a few who would be an upgrade to Booze at power forward including stoudamaire, Bosh, Howard(center) and a few others who are on par like Jefferson and West. But these guys are never going to be in a Jazz uniform so there is no point.

Scola is definitely underrated. That dude is gonna be so good in a few years once he adjusts to NBA style.

Scola is his prime. I guess he's 27 so he won't be much better than this year.

Two things to keep in mind:

1) The Rockets seem to actually be playing better since Yao went down (36-20 .643 w/ Yao, 19-7 .730 w/out Yao). And for anyone who says that during their winning streak, they only beat lesser teams, that's false; against teams above .500 or in the playoffs, they were 18-17 w/ Yao (.514) and 9-6 w/out Yao (.600). Some of these wins without Yao were against the Hornets, Lakers, Nuggets, Suns, and Mavericks.

2) The Rockets are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA (ranked first w/ 44.6 rebounds per game, and 6th in points allowed at 92 per game). Their team has played harder since Yao went down, and this has allowed Scola and Landry to flourish. If Yao had not gone down, I think the Jazz might have actually played better during this series, although that's a "What if" scenario we will never have an answer to.

The Rockets are a much, much better defensive team than the Lakers. The reason the Jazz are struggling at times is due to the tough Rockets defense. The Lakers rely on scoring more, so the Jazz will have the advantage defensively against them.
