wait until the spin doctors spin, then we can see through the smoke and mirrors. Patience, an eastern virtue, will be on display for the next... 6 months?

another crackdown in Tibet will come in Winter. World will no longer be watching, and the tourists will be gone.

Wait. Wait. Wait. Talk is cheap, and time is on the side of the country with the money, ours, and the people, over a billion of them.

Wait.

How long has Tibet been a part of China? What is all the fuss about? I am not sticking up for China but what is their's and their's right? Let it go! Hop a ship and go fight for Tibet's independance if you want it that bad for them, otherwise, SHUT UP YOU!

I'm so glad to see China bowing to the international pressure. The Chinese government is out of control in terms of their human rights abuses. I hope the world makes the most of using the Olympics as a way to further pressure China to cease their inhumane treatment of Tibetans and the Chinese citizens.

Oh, great. More full-color, front page coverage of a bald guy in robes that nobody cares about, regarding a story that nobody knows about.

The Chinese won't bow to anything but the almighty buck. After the Olympics and before the Chinese New Year they will feed the world a generous helping of Moo Goo Gai Tibet.
