Comments about ‘Donny and Marie announce big gig in Las Vegas’

Why have things in Las Vegas gotten to the point where the average Joe can't even afford to go to shows on the Strip?

Shame on Donny and Marie Osmond for charging such outrageuous prices for tickets! And shame on Las Vegas for propagating such ludicrous practices!

Wow, nothing else to say!

My only hope is that, unlike the Miss USA Pageant, these shows will be family appropriate -- modest clothes & dance moves, etc.
I am excited for the this new venture -- please just keep it a "family" event we all can share in! My family really enjoyed the PBS 50 Years show -- that's the Donny & Marie we love!!!!

It should be a great show. Let's just hope Marie doesn't act like a fool, talking over everything Donny has to say. It's really not very funny even though she always seems to laugh at herself. And I agree with the previous comment. Let's keep this a family show. There is so much "junk" in Las Vegas that I think there is a real need for good entertainment without compromising just to "please" the Vegas crowd. Keep this a high class show that actually spotlights each of their strengths as entertainers.
