What, skip to my lou is playing...Oh no, I'm not sure if we can win. We only have arguably the best point guard in the league....Deron will eat Rafer for lunch.

i think alot of people arent giving the jazz enough credit. the rockets are the fourth best team in the conference with or without yao. look at there winning streak, alot of those games were on the road against tough teams. most of which were without yao. the jazz go into houston and come away with two wins and now everyone is saying the jazz had an easy opponet. not true. the next two rounds will be tougher because the jazz dont do well against the lakers or the spurs, but if we somehow can get the nuggets and the hornets. nobody can stop the jazz.

The Jazz will sweep..

I really cant see the Jazz losing again this season..
cj | 4:11 p.m. April 24, 2008
Good, maybe there will be fewer excuses why they lost.

Bring it on in the ESA.

GO JAZZ!!
magnus | 4:22 p.m. April 24, 2008
Excellent!

Lets get it on!!!
TJ | 4:42 p.m. April 24, 2008
I think it will help and it makes them deeper but come on I mean even with their full team healthy their chances of beating the Jazz are home are pretty bad so this helps them but doesn't get them a win. Let's go Jazz! I want to see a sweep!
Re. It Won't Matter | 4:46 p.m. April 24, 2008
I for one will guarantee the Jazz will lose again this season, not maybe to Houston but remember what you said next round. You must be in the what I call the NOW generation where everything is given to you or you expect everything. You better have a good helping of humility for dinner tonight because you and a lot of others are about to get a good dose of reality. This is a wonderful team with alot of potential but be careful about putting the cart in front of the horse.

If you want the jazz to pay nuggets or some other lesser playoff team,

Then you realize the Jazz are not good enough to win it all.

Which make you the the most honest person on this forum.
Re: Anon: | 5:31 p.m. April 24, 2008
Or maybe the Jazz are good at beating certain teams.

Could the Hornets beat the Lakers? I'd have to say yes, Paul's younger, a better leader and has big men who can neutralize Pau.

Can the Jazz beat the Lakers? Probably not, but they can, and have, destroyed the Hornets multiple times.

Sorry anon you're just plain wrong.
Anonymous | 6:15 p.m. April 24, 2008
It's not question of whether you think they can beat hornets or lakers.

It's the thinking they NEED to play a lesser team in order to advance.

That is what is most telling. That is the honesty to which I am pointing.

And if they are hoping the jazz can play lesser a team, then what is it are they really thinking about the jazz?
to anon | 6:35 p.m. April 24, 2008
It's not the lesser team- don't you read? It's just a matter of a different matchup. The Hornets were the better team than the Lakers for 80 games this season, and only lost the #1 seed in the final week. I don't consider them to be the 'lesser' team as you said- just the better matchup.

It doesn't matter anyway because to even get to the Hornets the Jazz would have to go through the Lakers, as there's <1% chance that the thuggets can beat them

well,i think the houston roket have a lot of work to do cos most of the players got inju that they are nursing now and thier 3 piont shorting is not well good they need to work as a tearm that want to win at any giving time i dont see the sing of winning in them and i dont see them as the tearm that played regualer season at all and also they dont run for ball well they should know better that this time is do or die matter,so i will say they should know who and who to play at the right timeat the right moment let them go for the ball and go for the winning and iknown they will make a big different in today game if the can real work as a teams

Ak Fan | 11:18 p.m. April 24, 2008
MAN... Jazz lost
Deron didn't play way he used to. Too mush selfish play. Today wasn't team.
Where u at? | 11:20 p.m. April 24, 2008
Nice Boozer....way to show up (per normal). And Sloan, down by 1 with 17 seconds left...sit on the time out and just run some junk play...brilliant. Why he will NEVER be COY.
IowaJazzMan | 11:24 p.m. April 24, 2008
Looks like the Utah Jazz have been listening to all the hype. Even with Alston, the Rockets still are an average team AT BEST. Playing down to their competition again. Nice.
bob marley | 12:38 a.m. April 25, 2008
no time out at the end? all those missed FT's? i can't believe it mon! -roll one for the jazz-
Dapper2k | 9:32 a.m. April 25, 2008
I agree with some of the posts above. I don't think the Spurs are worried about who they play and everyone is trying to figure out how to avoid them. The best teams don't need specific matchups to win. The Jazz are very good, and if everyone plays well, memo, AK, Booz, they are close to an elite team. But guys still have a tendancy to disapear, booz, ak and memo.

Where have all you Sloan busters been when the Jazz have been winning? Typical of you. Sloan has coached a great game if Dwill had made the shot or found Boozer under the basket for the go ahead win you guys would have nothing to complain about. The jazz let one slip away that they should have won but will bounce back on Saturday.

I still believe as before the series started Jazz in 5.
