Jimmy takes exception to Rock's assertion that this one is 99.9% done. T-Mac hasn't played well and neither has BJax or his backups, and that could change at any moment.

Plus with Skip possibly coming back on Thursday, Houston will be a different team. The Jazz must stay determined and keep up their tough D on T-Mac or Houston just might pull out a win in the next game.

Jimmy has seen too many games this year where the Jazz have lost in situations that seemed to be gimmies, so Jimmy is not going to call this over until the Jazz officially close out.

These are the kind of articles that generate headlines such as "Clutch City." But, hey, what's a little locker room fodder when you're up 2-0 and you don't lose at home...

Go Jazz!

TMAC has no heart. He is 28 yrs old and complains about having nothing left in the 4th quarter, he didn't have his legs. Excuses are for losers.

Jimmy's right need I say more? Every game is a battle and to win the war you have to win 12 battles or the battles you win are meaningless.

12 "battles" would still be meaningless, to win the "war" the Jazz need 16.

I wish TMac would stop saying that he had nothing left and simply say the Jazz defense wore him out. He will never be able to beat the 4 player rotation that is being thrown at him. He is always going against fresh legs. I want to see a sweep pretty bad but IF Alston is back in game 3 then that will really help Houston. I think the door for Houston's chances of advancing is closing but it is not closed yet.
I will give Houston a lot of credit though cause they said in every interview after game one that they got pushed around and they had to be more physical with the Jazz in game 2 and they certainly were more physical. They showed a lot of guts because they never gave up and I don't expect to see an easy win in Utah for the Jazz. I expect another physical battle.

TMac did say that the Jazz defense wore him out. He said in the jazz just kept throwing guys at him and when he had a fresh kirilenko on him in the fourth there was nothing he could do. The media just makes it sound like all the rockets did was complain about the refs and that TMac isn't a good player in the fourth. I agree with Magic Johnson, TMac played like a superstar, but the Jazz are just way too deep for the Rockets even if they do have Alston.

I guess if you are a Houston fan and you see that crazy shot by Kyle Korver go in, you've got to know its not going to be your night.

Ronnie Price's last second 3 pointer in the third quarter was certainly another bad sign.

Maybe the D-News can call the arena and ask if it is available for a rodeo or something on the day Game 5 is scheduled. If they jump at the offer, well then that's another bad sign.

Go Jazz!
