I've for sure got my misty water-colored memories! Jazz in 5.
Can't rest | 9:56 a.m. April 21, 2008
The Jazz can't rest on one win. What if:

- Alston comes back and the Rockets win one at the ESA, home court advantage back to Houston.

- D-Will pulls up with a sore leg, and the Rockets win one in the ESA, home court advantage back to Houston.

- Memo pulls something and the Jazz have to play Collins. Then the Jazz are in deep mud.

Win now, win them all, then rest on your laurels in the off-season. Until then, focus, work, and win.

It's nice to see that Sloan agrees with all of his haters.

"I haven't really accomplished anything yet."

-Jerry Sloan

Here's hoping he can accomlish something great this year.

Also I think there is a very good reason that Utahs bench outplayed Houstons, it's because Houstons Bench players were starting.

Jazz by 5 tonight, they will sweep the series but not get much rest because the Lakers will win their series in 5.

Herm F says sweep them! | 11:19 a.m. April 21, 2008
Go for it! I love the fact that Sloan is eliminating any form of boasting that can affect the Jazz's level of play! There is no I in team or in Jazz. There is no moron star player saying how its "all on me" (mcgrady changed his comments this year consequently) and Sloan is the reason the Jazz are staying humble and successful. We have as good a chance tonight to win again, lets for for 2-0 start and set up a potential sweep!

If the Jazz can't sweep the crippled Texas Rocketts (as in N.Y. Rocketts) club, and get some rest before the Fakers series, then they are wasting their time in the playoffs. They should win tonight...no problem, and get the broom out in Salt Lake City.

Go Jazz!!!!!

To "Original" Jazz Fan, 12:32--

Yes, the Jazz should sweep the Rockets with a good game tonight, but regarding the so-called "Fakers", I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. The Lakers owned the Jazz this year and match up well with them. They broke the Jazz home sreak, and Pau Gasol wasn't even playing that game.

The theme of the article should be heeded: Focus on beating the Rockets now, as in tonight. Worry about future opponents later.

Most successful teams live in the "here and now," and spend little time talking up what they just accomplished. Time and again you see this work ethic in championship teams. The UofU Football team that went to the Fiesta Bowl had it. And I think this Jazz team has it.

Will they win it all this year? Probably not, but I can see the improvement in them over last year. If the Jazz can keep the core players together, they will soon become a MONSTER that other teams dread playing.
