No evidence of abuse has been found so far, not a single person has been arrested and now we find out that the call that prompted the raid against the FLDS community is likely to be bogus. I would like to know just one reason to keep the 416 children under state custody as it has been decided today. There is none.
Yes, I said it before and now it looks like it is true...it is a hoax caller. This whole thing is a mess, the FLDS is a bad reflection on our society, the Texas people meant well but now have a bull by the tail, and maybe some good will come of it all, the collapse of a system that should have never been in the first place. It reminds me of the old song, "Born to Lose". Everyone pray for those kids.
This doesn't disprove that the other kids in the sect where being abused. I guess the pregnant teens are a hoax too. The kids will still be saved and the men locked away.
If no signs of abuse or forceable marriages are found to be true, just when are these children going to be returned to their families?
This person who made this call, if she is not telling the truth, should be prosicuted to the fullest extent of the Law for giving false information.
I am not a believer of marriage before it is allowed by our Laws. I believe in Nebraska, it is the age of 17. I feel that these people should follow their state rules also.
But come on, let's get these children back with their families if no abuse is present.
This is one of the most horrible abuses in justice for the FLDS communities, a clear vilation of their basic human rights and the children being traumatized by the authorities..
As a christian minister, i don't always agree with other believes, but i agree in mutual respect for every single believe in this great nation of ours..
Free the children and the believers..
