Cannon's coffers have a rival

I applauded both Leavitt and Dew for putting their own money where their mouth is. We need people with strong convictions who are not for sale.
ABC = Anybody But Chaffetz
Cannon is contentious, embarrassing, misguided and seriously flawed. Go look at You Tube - July 7, 2007!! Yikes.... a C-Span specialist.... He is experienced and tricky and has played the game for over a decade - plus he is ready to spend some money like he did to defeat Jacobs two years ago! How is he going to spin things this election? And now is definitely time for some new blood! Time for new blood...
Chaffetz is a stalking, whining, weeny! He should run in the District he lives in - and just because it is LEGAL doesn't make it right... kind of like Abortion, which is legal but That doesn't make it right, either! Plus he has never been elected for any public office! He Needs experience... and why is he not with Huntsman - just one year? He is a selfish flash-in-the-pan carpetbagger! This is not Nu-Skin.
David Leavitt is the best choice for Utah's 3rd district in 2008.
As for Leavitt, I agree. Things are not going to change in America if we keep sending back Cannon and others to Washington. Cannon has done fine, but it's time for new blood, as you say.
I have found Leavitt to be the only challenger in this race who has a vision based on what our founders would have wanted. Not only that, he is the only one who can beat Cannon in the convention or a primary, which it will likely end up at.
His experience in the Middle East makes me wonder if having someone in congress with his knowledge could help clean up the mess.
I am very upset that the Democrats told us last election that they would fix it and 2 years later, it is the same old song.
I have always thought Matheson was nice but being in the majority, he got nothing done the last 2 years. Enough lip service.
For the first time I think I am going to vote for someone other then Matheson.
And Mr. Dew, you impressed me. Good luck.
I'm a political junkie trying to be active in the Republican party. I get my Utah Policy Daily from LaVar Webb and click on links that look interesting. If you like politics and don't get UPD, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Google it.
I comment when I find things interesting and keep my mouth shut otherwise. Ordinarily I try to avoid "comment board discussions" but you offhandedly accused me of some other pretense so I felt I would respond.
1) Do you know without a shadow of a doubt that they "throw around their own money like it is Monopoly money"?? And if you win at Monopoly - it IS a game of risk - and these gentlemen (and the VAST MAJORITY of politicians) have earned this money, are they not FREE to spend or invest in a manner they so choose. It is very easy for you to be critical without all the accurate information
2) In regards to your claim that there are more staffers at Leavitt's meetings than delegates - DID YOU in fact ask if any of those present were volunteers? At the small meeting I attended, there were more volunteers than staffers (and the delegates outnumbered them them all!). so please PLEASE, Mr. or Mrs. "1 2 Talk", please be more responsible in your "claims", "allegations", and reporting of information.
Thank you for your time.

What have these guys spent their money on so far? Paid staff, prime office space, hair and makeup, TV ads??? I'm not sure these guys know how to get the most bang for a buck. I've been to Leavitt meetings where the paid staff nearly outnumbered the delegates in attendance.
