I've been saying this all along. Beckerman is a box to box mid, puts everything on the line when he plays. Captains armband should stay on his arm for the rest of his career here at RSL!

Beckerman is a box to box mid but the problem is that it creates a lack of width in the RSL attack. I get worried about playing 4 central mids at the same time. Maybe Beckerman is best suited for attacking mid. Morales hasn't been great, but he hasn't been bad either. Maybe Morales could play right wing with Espindola on the left wing and Sturgis playing behind Beckerman in the middle.

All I can say is... "Thank you Colorado!"

Amen

Colorado has gotten the worst of all of our deals...

Ha for sure. And this article was very well done, loved it.

"I get worried about playing 4 central mids at the same time."

That is our system, and it has been working pretty well. The idea is that wide play comes mostly from our outside defenders. Our outside midfielders tuck into the middle a bit, and help create more passing options. It also helps them to be in better positions when we are in the offensive third. If Beckerman had been stuck out on the wing, he wouldn't have been able to score either of his goals.

Colorado

Colorado is on top of the conference.

Re: Colorado

Thanks Colorado for pointing out the standings. The season is only 4 games old and no one is counting on Colorado or Columbus to win their respective conference. So what was your point? I'm not saying that Colorado won't be ahead of RSL at the end of the year, but wasn't the early point made was that Colorado got the raw end of the deals with RSL. Who from RSL is even playing with Colorado now? I would say that Beckerman is a lot better than Ballouchy right now.
