Okay, I bet I can guess this one. Fourth most livable is Detroit, Michigan.
California may not be the most friendly, but it seems odd to me that a state ranked 50th by a metric would have the most businesses in the country in it?
Silicon Valley continues to power the new economy. As older companies are retracting, they continue to build and push forward.
Strange study.
This is odd that California ranks behind the deep south including Louisiana, considering California's economy and output is the largest in the nation. Very odd survey...putting the poor and low output states on top and the big producers at the bottom and declaring the poor low output states "best" for business.
I moved here from California and brought my business because it was dirt cheap to live here and the locals can't compete economically against me because of their low wages, meaning I live at the top of the hill and look down on them. Is that what they mean by quality of life? Seriously, all these "Utah's the best" surveys don't seem to be helping the locals any.
You know there are companies in Silicon Valley whose annual sales exceed the annual sales for ALL companies, combined, in the state of Utah, don't you?
If by 'unfriendly' you mean 'people won't work for slave wages', then I suppose California is unfriendly compared to Utah.
Exactly, "One more", Utah is friendly to business just like Mexico is friendly to business. Cheap labor but here the workers even speak english.
Where is the most friendly to WORKERS state?
