The Jehovah's Witnesses have settled lawsuits alleging church policies protected pedophile men who sexually abused children for many years.
Frederick McLean is one of the most-wanted fugitives in the United States

having issued a warrant signed by a judge who is endowed with his or her own brand of morality, has wrecked havoc upon one of our minority relegious groups. Will you be next! I am not FLDS but I can smell a rat. The enforcers are out of control.

Look at what the Feds say:

"The application and affidavit in support of the search warrant are sealed and will remain sealed"

In other words, they'll do whatever they want and won't tell anyone why.

Secret affidavits, anonymous mystery accusers who can't be produced, outrageously broad search and seizure orders, detaining hundreds of men for days with no charges filed against them. What country are we talking about again?

As against this FLDS group as I am. You don't fight secrecy with secrecy.

Why not reveal why they had a warrant. In no way can it affect their investigation right now. The only thing they are doing is shutting up the press so that the public will forget the warrant side of this issue.

I even believe that if the girl who called was in fact from the compound and they knew this(This is their claim) then I fully support this raid.

However, I will never support secret acts for power.

I am soo happy and excited that they have finally taken action against these sick pedophiles. This is disgusting. I can't believe it has been going on for years in AMERICA. Why couldn't they have made-up a story like this years ago? Just to break-up this immoral, brain-washing cult? Even if only one child is saved from SEXUAL ABUSE AND PHYSICAL ABUSE. It's worth it. Everyone has the right to be free.

Texas is spending $110,000.00 per year for kids in the Texas Youth Authority. Look at the recent scandals involving sexual abuse of minors in that place. The Legislature is considering abolishing it.

It would be nice to think that the kids are safe now, but the record in Texas of looking after kids clearly shows differently.

Maybe they could just be sent to Utah. The regular Mormons could look after them.

Maybe you didn't read the articles DN put up on sex offenders in Utah a couple weeks ago. Utah and Mormons have the same problems with pedophiles just like any other state. Hopefully these kids are put up in a safe place, it doesn't matter what religion the host house is.

I have wondered for a long time why no action has been taken. The marrying of young girls has been going on for sometime. It is my understanding that this may have been a prank call from someone who has done this before. Where does that leave these children, are they just going to return them to an abusive home.
