As someone who was homeless less than four years ago, and is now a consumer Board member of a community healthcare center in Colorado (MCPN-Metro Community Provider Network), as well as a consumer member of NCAB - the consumer division of NHCHC (National Health Care for the Homeless Council) I can attest to the massive value of the work Allan Ainsworth has done and how far-reaching the effects are. The fact that Allan is very humble (having met him at the last three NHCH conferences) about his contributions attests to his altruism to the cause. He is a true model for those who follow. I congratulate him on this award and look forward to seeing him at the NHCH conference in Phoenix in June.
