The Air Force Audit Agency has Auditors - not Inspectors. There is a difference.
The guilty party will be the lowest ranking civilian or military. Guaranteed. No one with authority will take the rap.
Hill Air Force Base like other governmental run agencies have employees that do not do their job as paid. There is a high rate of waste of material, time and this problem does not surprise me. I hope the guilty will be found and not push down on a honest worker who is reliable and does his job. Upper Echalon are famous for not taking the rap when they are responsible...they are cowards in my opinion and I worked with some of those at Hill AFB>

Hit that right on the head- can't argue with it at all. I know some of the guys at EG&G worked at a DC in Freeport center. That is the rule of thumb- blame someone else when something goes wrong-AND- Take credit for things you didn't do.
