Democrats have little chance of winning in November with either of these nominees. They however have zero chance if that nominee is Obama. That said, the VP nominee of both parties will decide this election.

Despite what the pundits here in Utah tell you, Mitt would be a logical nominee for the Republicans if they are facing Obama, not so much if it is against Hilary. He would assure victories in Colorado and Nevada and would give them an excellent chance in Michigan.

McCain is no dummy though, he will wait until he knows who he is up against to decide whom he is going to run with.

Whatever anonymous. It's going to be a challenge but don't count out the democrats. The polls go back and forth. McCain doesn't have an unstoppable lead. Some weeks it's no lead at all.
Did you here about the smart people of Prescott, Arizona signing a petition saying they won't vote for McCain with Romney on the ticket. Not because he's a Mormon of course, but because they don't trust him because of his flip-flopping. This is the real reason he's not the nominee. It would be fun to see the media loop of the numerous times Romney called Barack Obama Osama Bin Laden and posing with the woman holding the "Osama Obama" sign, showing his true colors as the "good" man he really is.

Will West win Demo spotlight? Nope!

Think Fast: do you remember where the last Democrat convention took place? Neither do I. No one cares. This year's convention will earn a little money for downtown Denver's restaurants and prostitutes but will have no other effect on the West.

Think Fast II: what's going on in Denver tonight? I don't know either. What happens in Denver stays in Denver and has little impact on the West. I couldn't care less about what goes on in Denver unless the Jazz are playing there.

In like fashion, convention delegates won't think at all about what's happening in Utah or other western states and cities. Aside from Park City, Aspen, and Jackson, it's all flyover country to them and they despise us all because of our values and political views.
