Study finds nearly 1 in 50 infants are abused

Somewhat misleading headline as neglect is the main problem--a form of abuse, but still....
"The chief contributing factor is domestic violence. However, maternal drug use was a contributing factor nationally and locally in the child neglect cases. About 18 percent of those cases in Utah were neglect due to alcohol use, including fetal alcohol syndrome and neglect due to methamphetamine abuse."
Most the article talked about drug abuses and alcohol abuses. Some of which are pre-birth. Being that the word "immunize" isn't anywhere IN the article. Good parents research and learn to better the lives of their family.
I'm not really trying to attack your parenting skills, I obviously don't even know you. But claiming yourself as "good mom" and attacking the article for something false...
Maybe you should have read it first. I'll admit that everyone may have their own definition of abuse and that is seen a lot. But organizations formed against abuse primarily are trying to do good and prevent what a large number of people do.
Society is declining and more people badly parent. Negative presumptions don't lead to fixing anything. Building and working together do. At least they are trying to help.
