I went to Dan's yesterday and had one of these samples. John was so outgoing and I wondered why he was so animated about this product. Now that I know he was from Dreyers, I would have filled out the form for a free ice cream party.
I know this looks odd since I have listed myself as a Ute Alum but I love USU ice cream. The Aggies have the best ice cream bare none especially that Vanilla.
Many times I have driven down the canyon from Logan with a little stash of Aggie ice cream in a cooler. I must admit my husband is an Aggie Alum and thanks to him we can even get it at the USU Alumni office in SLC. Thanks Linda for keeping some Vanilla in the cooler for us. Perhaps I could put some red M & M's in the bowl and make a U of U Red Rage Flavor.
Prior to that my fav was Snelgrove's Canadian Vanilla.
Canadian Vanilla was my favorite for years, but when Dreyers took over they changed the recipe and it lost my vote. My favorite now is Costco's Kirkland Signature Vanilla (and it still comes in half-gallon containers, not those silly 1.75-quart things--who do they think they're fooling???).
For a real treat, go to the Costco deli and order an ice-cream bar with nuts. It is their Signature vanilla hand-dipped while you wait in premium milk chocolate and then rolled in fresh-toasted almonds. It's big enough to serve two and it only costs $1.50!! Yum...I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!!
how can I get a job like this?.......LOL!!
