Loved the cartoons--worth checking out--at the 9th Ward.

Get a life. It's bad enough that so many people waste so much time blogging, but do we have to waste print space on it as well? The very idea of such a column shows how desperate DN is for readers. You'd do better to improve the quality of your paper and at least pretend to demonstrate a little objectivity/integrity with regard to 'Mormon' issues (and, yes, I'm LDS--but that doesn't mean I want my church or BYU to be treated preferentially where news is concerned)

The Deseret News should be embarrased to report this as news. It is appearant the DN is in need of an editor to bring back a minimum level of journalistic standards.

Personally, I've really enjoyed finding out what's going on in the blog world. My guess is Provo reader isn't reading the blogs if he/she feels the writers are wasting their time. Bloggers are having a definite impact on politics and policies, plus provide a fabulous forum for everyone who wants to be heard. Don't discount them just because they aren't your thing. This might not be the best placement of this fine column, but it definitely has a place.
