GABE HAS AN EXCELLENT CHANCE TO UNDER-STUDY FOR RAY ALLEN OFF THE BENCE NEXT YEAR...HE NEEDS TO CONTINUE TO POLISH HIS OFFENSIVE SKILLS...BOTH THE OUSIDE JAY & TAKE IT TO THE HOLE LIKE PAUL PIERCE TO DRAW FOULS...ALSO HE MUST PLAY AGRESSIVE "D" OR HE SIMPLY WILL NOT MAKE THE CELTS ROSTER...HE & RONDO CAN BE AWESOME FOR CELTICS FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS...BE THE FOUNDATION FOR THE NEW CELTS DYNASTY...ROND...GABE...PERK...POWE...BIG-BABY...CELTIC NATION IS BACK!!!
Interesting how Pruitt neglected to state that one of the reasons he left for the NBA was he was academically ineligible (2nd time in two years) at the end of his junior year immediately following the tourney. Plus, even if he did get his eligibility back, he wouldn't get the ball as much with OJ being there. Combine those facts with his financial situation and NBA draft stock being high made it a no brainer.
Gabe pruitt is going to be part of the C's future his ability is not in question the line up is stacked for a championship run but in the next couple years he will be an elite scorer and playmaker...I'm a true celtic fan and am feelin his game and hope good comes of the d league experience...
Gabe will get his chance during the next couple of years and will be a big part of either the Boston Celtics or another NBA team.
