If we don't do something untill we are 100% sure we get it right, we will never do anything.

Dave, when spending a billion or more tax dollars (including the uphill Cedar City spur of the pipeline and interest on the loan)and saddling the small populations of 3 counties with the debt, you better be absolutely certain you get it right.

Why do Californian use one third the water per person than Utahans use? Are we smarter. Do we care more about conservation? Californians are more innovative?

Do you believe rain will follow development?

Why Am I complaining. I wish Utah would advertise more to get conservatives to move to Utah and take their drug addicted kids with them.

Let them move to Utah and make demands of government and then stiff you Utahans with the bills.

Why do people in St. George have lawns? Grass lawns should not be allowed any where. They live in a desert!

As desert communities grow-- which they inevitably do-- water conservation efforts must increase. That's a simply reality of life in the desert. Unfortunately agriculture is the biggest water user, and shutting that down would have too many negatives.

Want to really cut non-agricultural water use? Close all golf courses. Restrict lawn sizes and require xeriscape (low water use landscaping). Las Vegas and other cities have already taken measures. Now it's Dixie's turn.
