Halford? | 7:22 a.m. March 29, 2008
Where's Skyler Halford? He was second in 5A in scoring. Also, Justin Hamilton?

I was just wondering why no one has reported the coaching change for Northridge? Coach Hansen resigned on Monday, and nothing has even been mentioned in the D-news.

Hopefully we can get a good coach in here at NHS that will play a fast break style of offense.
Thanks Des News | 8:48 a.m. March 29, 2008
Just a note to say thank you for the All State festivities last night. The speakers were very entertaining, and the food was good. As a parent I appreciate you going out of your way to recognize all these talented young people.

5A will own 4A

Halford probably should have been selected. Hamilton on the other hand, no way

Why isn't Holton Hunsaker on the 4A team...?
Coach | 2:24 p.m. March 29, 2008
Hunsaker was selected to the team as were some other kids. Obviously these other players had conflicts so they were replaced. Don't know the replacement procedure.
Confused? | 3:04 p.m. March 29, 2008
Where is Wilcox? He's better than everyone on that 5A list
duh | 10:26 p.m. March 29, 2008
it's a SENIOR allstar game. Therefore, only SENIORS can play in it.
Wilcox isnt a senior | 10:30 p.m. March 29, 2008
And yes he is VERY good. But now you know why Haws, Mr B Ball isnt there either. Relax about CJ, you dont need to sell him anymore. anyone that has seen him play will make sure he gets his due. He needs to get his team past first round next year, and he could really make some college noise too.
Iowa State | 12:11 a.m. March 30, 2008
Hamilton is good enough to sign with Iowa State but not good enough to make the high school coaches game?
Conflicts | 7:12 a.m. March 30, 2008
Several players, who should have been there, could not attend due to conflicts with work, playing on AAU teams, illness, whatever.....
The selections were made based upon availability to attend.
It was a nice event and I enjoyed it very much. Some great young men to watch.....and unlike the NBA all star game....these guys came to play.
Congratulations to all who were selected.
wow!!! | 9:58 a.m. March 31, 2008
Where is Brandon Kies from Ben Lomond on the 3A team? he averaged a double double!
1A South | 5:45 p.m. March 31, 2008
There are several errors listed here between 1A north & South teams...
Riverton parent | 10:29 a.m. April 1, 2008
Go Avi Burgess she is the best 5A player because she plays with the most heart even her coach knew the potential she had. Riverton might not have the best teams but they have the teams that play with the most heart. Way to be classy Go riverton

Iowa state made a big mistake
Re: Anonymous | 11:51 p.m. April 1, 2008
Ya Iowa State made a huge mistake taking a 6'11 big man who averaged a double double on a team with 3 other legitimate D1 players. What morons over at Iowa State. Signing a kid that had 10 blocks in the state championship. Give me a break Iowa State.
